The garden is beautifully decorated with plenty of seating areas to sit back and unwind. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The highlight of our visit was definitely the tour—our guide went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the amazing wildlife. Great Food.

Great local family owned guest house with very friendly staff. Much of the food is locally sourced, including the rice that is grown in the family's own rice paddy. Guides were very good; determined to find a tiger for me, which they did even though they are hard to see at this time of year.

Loved the fact that the focus is on the forest and wildlife, not the usual luxuries. No wifi in the room and that is really good. The food was just excellent - clean, fresh and delicious. I am vegan and the chef took special care to accommodate that constraint. The lodge manager was very courteous and helpful. The resort itself is small and one feels like one is in the middle of a forest. Its right next to the core zone so not much habitation around. Special mention of Reshmi in Sales/Reservation who was exceptional in coordinating my travel from Kathmandu including the airport pick ups and drop. I am sure i will be back here soon.

The resort was great, affordable, clean, extremely kind and friendly staff and good food. What more should i ask? Haha. I'm pretty sure we will be staying there next time we are in bardiya.
