The property is located on the banks of the Rapti River, 32 km away from Bharatpur Domestic Airport and Narayan Ghat Bus Stand. The famous Chitwan National Park is 100 metres away. Staff, location, spa, restoraunt, atmosphere all were super! They helped us with different tours such as Taru village tour, elephant safari tour, arranged a cultural show night though we were only guests (as it was off season) thanks for everyone from the staff. Room facilities and everything is in high condition.

Surrounded by greenery and situated across the Rapti River, Chitwan Village Resort is just 300 metres from Chitwan National Park’s jungle safari area. The property offers free Wi-Fi access in its public areas. The resort is a cute little one tucked away from the Sauraha Road. We were there in the off season and there was a change in our arrival plan. The owner told us not to worry and helped us to get to the place easily. Rooms were very clean and simple. Bathrooms were tidy as well. If you are planning on any activity in Chitwan do not worry, the resorts team is always ready to help. They did all the appointments for our jeep safari and canoeing. They in fact have an authorized guide working with them. Breakfast was neat and simple, completely home made. Kudos for manging the property in this way and cheers to Mr Rajendar Bhandari and team.

Nepali and continental dishes are served in the open-air restaurant. The terrace is set up to have panoramic views of the Rapti river, with occasional elephants walking by. A gem of a hotel. The staff, the facilities, the room, the food. Without a doubt, the experience in Chitwan would have been different if we had not booked the Sapana Village. Best of all is the development project and sustainability programs they have. We did the Safari directly with them, all well explained and guided and we were lucky to see even a Tiger. We will miss this stay very much! Thanks to all the staff of the hotel!!

The food was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of my visit. The rooms were clean, and cozy, and offered a peaceful connection to nature. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for great hospitality, delicious food, and a serene escape! 10/10!
