The property is located on the banks of the Rapti River, 32 km away from Bharatpur Domestic Airport and Narayan Ghat Bus Stand. The famous Chitwan National Park is 100 metres away. We had a truly wonderful time Barahi jungle lodge. It was hugely relaxing and peaceful, with our beautiful room looking over the river. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Food was really delicious every meal. Loved all of it - very fresh and varied. We did two full days of drives and saw extensive wildlife, with a fleeting glimpse of a tiger in the distance. However the large number of rhino, deer, monkeys, some sloth bears, bison and birds mean that it’s a really enchanting experience in beautiful surroundings. Huge thanks to every member of the team for making it such a wonderful experience. There was extreme kindness and generosity shown.

Beautifull atmosphere, really amazing people that works there and also the village organizes really good activities in the wild and with elephants.

I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of my visit. The rooms were clean, and cozy, and offered a peaceful connection to nature. The breakfast was a culinary delight--anything and everything you could possibly want to start the day. Whether you are vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, or just regular eggs--fixed any way you like, sausage, toast, juice, coffee/tea, it was delicious, the service great, and the presentation lovely. Staff was always smiling, polite, and helpful. Breakfast, lunch, dinner--you cannot improve on perfection. Every care has been taken to delight your senses. Trees, plants, flowers all chosen to attract birds and butterflies. The other morning over 80 species of birds were spotted on the grounds. The swimming pool is gorgeous, with multiple layers of deck all with comfortable seating, lounge chairs, and tables for your comfort and enjoyment. Dining may be inside or out as you refer. At night there is a lovely area and seating for a bonfire. Local crafts, building materials, and architecture are reflected throughout Banbas. The jungle is just across the street. A cacophony of beautiful birdsong greets you morning and evening. Such a gorgeous place to relax and get rejuvenated. I did not want to leave! On your standard 5-star rating scale, Banbas is definitely a 10-star resort.
