They helped us book our boat tours, rent a scooter, set up transportation to the ferry terminal and even packed us breakfast as our departure was very early in the morning. The room was very spacious and clean and every day we were surprised with some treat. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The breakfast selection is great with lots of vegetables and freshly cooked eggs to your choice. We also enjoyed our dinner at the bbq party they organized during the weekend. Overall, we are so happy we booked The Funny Lion for our stay in Coron, they made our trip so much more enjoyable.

The resort is just a 10-minute drive from Coron Town and the nearest public hospital. The famous Maquinit Hot Spring is a 20-minute drive, while Busuanga Airport is a 30-minute drive away. We arrived here after a horrible experience in a hotel in El Nido, and couldn’t be more grateful for La Natura. The place itself is a perfect calm oasis, pool area is lovely (even because there are no beaches close-by so it’s perfect to relax), the room is spacious and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious. But what really makes the difference here is the family that runs it. They will make you feel so welcomed and cared for. They helped us with everything we needed help with, with a smile. Do yourself a favour and stay here if visiting Coron. Yes you are not in the city center, but honestly, in Coron, you don’t want to be (it’s not a particularly pretty city center). Plus it’s very easy to get everywhere with a scooter. We just wished we could have stayed longer! Grazie!! :)

We loved everything : the staff at the reception and the restaurant is very friendly and helpful, a glass of juice on the arrival is such a small and simple detail but makes you feel good after all day traveling. They provide a free tuktuk in the afternoon to drop you off in the town center (although it's quite close walking as well, 10-15 min). The swimming pool is fantastic. The restaurant serves dinner, the breakfast was one of the best we had in the Philippines, everything was delicious. The room is quite basic but has everything you need, amazing water pressure in the shower (which is rare in the Philippines!). We would definitely come back here.

Coron Town is just a 10-minute walk away. The stuff is amazing We stayed in a room for 3 people right next to the pool. We loved the pool The room is clean and spacious. I would come again. The hotel restaurant is okay overall and they can deliver the food to your room

Located in Coron, Discovery Island Resort is located on a 7-hectare island and it is just a 5-minute boat ride from Coron Town. Relaxing, quiet, superb staff that made us feel like royalty, staff very helpful for showing us things to do and how to get there. We stayed 3 days extra because it is a perfect place to stay.
