The location was great.The owners Doug and Geraldine went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. When we need a car or motorcycle to rent, she organizes it immediately. They even invite us to join them for the New Year celebration. There we so much drinks, food,cakes exct.I will definitely recommend to stay there. The staff was excellent. Even the Labrador MOJO is very friendly and playful.

The accommodation features a concierge service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. loved the style of the resort. we asked to stay a day earlier and so we managed to stay at the casita which was really cute! we moved to the apartments for the rest of our stay after which was just as good! not as big it wasn’t that much of a difference. except that the apartments don’t get Netflix which was sad bc I started watching a series in the casita but couldn’t continue at the apartment lol

The whole place is like a fairy tale, the pictures doesn’t give justice. The neigbouring streets might seem rough at the first sight, but we haven’t experienced anything but kindness from the locals throughout our week in Siargao. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, there was nothing they couldn’t help us with. Some critiqued the breakfast options but 1) we could eat that forever 2) they have always asked us if we’d have any special request for eg like a Filippino breakfast etc. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer than a week.

Villa Maya provides certain units with sea views, and every room includes a balcony. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. I will definately come back when I come back to Sirgao. The Hotel is amazing and my room was the biggest room I have ever had, with own terrace. The Pool was amazing and if I played Golf I would have done it but I don‘t play. I stayed there for 4 nights and I just left the Hotel for a Landtour but honestly if you like it quite and don‘t need to Party you don‘t have to leave the Hotel. You have everything, Pool, Bar and Restaurant! Only the Price is a Bit high but I think if you want a clean and good Hotel you Thais normal in Siargao. By the way for me Siargao is a Bit overrated 😉 The staff was very, very friendly, especially Rose, the Young receptionist is so Sweet!! And Dave, the Young guy also! I had the Chance to speak with the owner and she very friendly and I saw how nice she is to the staff! Thank you for and unforgetable stay! Ana (Filipina-Austria)
