אתר הנופש סכארום (Saccharum - Resort and Spa - Savoy Signature) הוא מלון מעצבים יוקרתי בדירוג 5 כוכבים, שממוקם על חוף קלייטה (Calheta Beach), בין הרי מדיירה (Madeira) והאוקיינוס האטלנטי. Really cool design to this hotel. Great breakfast buffet and amazing swimming pools. This may be my favorite hotel on the island.

מקום האירוח Terrabona Nature & Vineyards נמצא בBoaventura, במרחק של 16 ק''מ מהבתים המסורתיים של סנטנה, וכולל בריכת שחייה חיצונית, חניה פרטית בחינם, גינה ובר. מקום נפלא ומיוחד, ממש בתוך כרם ענבים מעל נהר. נופים מרהיבים. ארוחת בוקר מצויינת להכנה עצמית (לחם טרי וחם מסופק מידי בוקר). ארוחת הערב שאורגנה על ידי המארחים (בתשלום), מלווה ביינות שמיוצרים על ידם, הייתה טובה מאוד.

מקום האירוח Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway שוכן בפונטה דו סול, במרחק של 1.2 ק''מ מחוף מדאלנה דו מאר, ומציע בריכת שחייה חיצונית, חניה פרטית בחינם, גינה וטרסה. The rooms are really nice, amazing view at the ocean, very clean and modern. There have been a few issues initially but the staff was trying to present a solution to them immediately. All in all a great overall experience, we can definitely recommend it.

The garden is beautiful and the sunset lounge is a wonderful spot to have your coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. Steffi and Alex are great and take Steffi’s advice about tracking on the island, she knows all the tracks…what is worth, where to start from where to stop to eat… Much was said about the way you access the villa and how steep the road is. Well, it is steep but that is Madeira… a lot of roads are like that and coming from a flat city can be intimidating but is part of the experience😊 Thank you Steffi for the bananas! Absolutely delicious!

The luxurious Royal Savoy - Ocean Resort is set amidst tropical gardens in the Bay of Funchal, featuring 2 heated lagoon-style pools and private ocean access. Nice staff, rooms and exceptional breakfast.

Located on a slope overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Village Cabo Girao offers villas and apartments with access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, free private parking and free WiFi in shared areas.... מלון דירות נהדר ממש ליד תצפית קאבו ג׳יארו. ממוקם מאד גבוה ולכן היתה לנו כל פעם נסיעה בכבישים התלולים במעלה ההר, אך עם רכב זה לא בעיה והנוף הנשקף מהמרפסת שווה את זה. יש בריכה מקורה מחוממת שכיף להיכנס אליה כל ערב אחרי טיול מפרך. בנוסף יש עוד בריכה פתוחה, מתקף גולף מאד נחמד ועוד כמ. אטרקציות. נהנינו מאד נשמח לחזור לשם.
