Magnificent pool and souna. Midt importantly - privacy, only the views of mountains and vineyards, and the sound of the river. For us it was perfect!

Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway se află în Ponta do Sol, la 14 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Madalena do Mar, și pune la dispoziție o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată... We stayed at the villa with private pool and it was really private and very beautiful! Everything is super clean & comfortable in the villa. Petra - the owner - is very nice & ready to help anytime you need something. The breakfast is very good & almost everyday something special from portugal or madeira is served. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back!

Saccharum - Resort & Spa este un hotel luxos de 5 stele de design, situat pe plaja Calheta, între munţii Madeira şi Oceanul Atlantic. Locatia este bine asezata, direct la strada si direct la plaja. Au 2 parcari 1 exterioara, 1 interioara. View-ul a fost superb atat catre ocean cat si catre munte. Mi-a placut cel mai mult ca am avut parte de mici surprize dulci in fiecare zi din partea Flaviei fata ce s-a ocupat de camera noastra, dar si din partea hotelului care mi-a pregatit o mica surpriza de ziua mea. Asadar noi personal am fost foarte multumiti.

Big variety of food, very friendly to vegetarians and food intolerances. Beautiful destination. One of 2 white sandy beaches available. Reception had many ideas for activities and could help with loads of suggestions. Quiet and family friendly crowd, great staff. Many organised activities. Exceptionally clean. Show every night with live music. The family suite was very big with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, a balcony and a kitchen.

Offering 4 restaurants, 2 bars and Atlantic Ocean views, the 5-star Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel is situated on a cliff top on Madeira Island. Funchal’s centre is 10 minutes' walk away. The staff was the best. Everyone was kind all the time. Maybe the phone conversations were not best and did not give me solutions I was looking for but otherwise all the people are lovely and make the stay even more relaxing and soothing. Also the style of the building, very classy with use info noble materials.
