Bed comfortable, good heating (much needed!).

With carpeted floors and designer wooden furniture, the suites and rooms all have a balcony with views and a TV. Unexpected excellent experience, architectural marvel (Júlio de Oliveira 1972), the stay felt like being inside a movie. To the attentive eye, there are design surprises in every corner. e.g. the bathroom layout/lighting/mirrors/geometry/ with its tiny cuneiform like mosaics appeared to be from a Blade Runner era. Very cosy in the middle of a nature reserve/tall pine trees with an extensive beautiful sandy beach less than 5min walk. To the west it has the Atlantic ocean, to the east a river, the peninsula provides a feeling of remoteness. Some wood materials make the place look like a lodge in a nordic island, like in those silent movies. There is a pool, balcony, and the property is closed with a gate.

Modern rooms at Axis Ofir Beach Resort Hotel open out onto private balconies. Each room is air conditioned, equipped with satellite TV channels, a minibar and includes en suite bathrooms with hairdryer. Great location, right on the beach front. Room was lovely and had a sea view. Very comfortable bed. Lovely pool. Excellent breakfast. Also a wonderful venue Jardim just down the road - not to be missed for excellent company, food and drinks. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a beautiful place. Some cabins are equipped better than others but overall a nicely done compound.

The unit is set in Foz do Douro, a 15-minute drive from the Porto centre. Some of the apartments in the unit feature views of the Ocean from its balcony. Bartolomeu Apartments Sea View is a 2-minute drive from the Serralves Modern Art Museum.

A continental breakfast may be included in the rate and served each morning at the suite. It is a 2-minute walk from popular restaurants and cafés, such as the seafront Tavi. This location is priceless. We slept by a balcony looking out at the Atlantic Ocean. The full glass sliding door wall was heavily sound-resistant if we ever tired of the sound of waves. I would live here.
