We stayed in one of the Bull Stables cottages and it was perfect. It's not a self-catering unit, so bear that in mind, however, there are facilities on the property where you can cook. Everything from the bedding to the soap was chosen with care, even had some fresh flowers in the room. The property is incredibly beautiful and while we were there during the wettest, muddiest weather, we could tell that they took great care in providing a well-rounded experience for guests. Now the food. Jurie, the chef and his helper, painstakingly prepare each dish. We had oxtail, bobotie, spaghetti bolognese, and breakfast. Every dish was hot and delicious.

A whole country house for less than the average hotel room. I also had a huge garden with a lake and horses to myself. Amazing. Peaceful.

It is a nice hotel, we had a lovely stay. We could start our hikes immediately from our hotel. We made use of the wellness and it was great.

The staff was very exceptional, Thulani Miya to be specific. He treated us well and he made our stay very delightful and we enjoyed the hikes he took us to, to see the beautiful Drakensberg mountains
