Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Excellent villa. Received an upgrade to a beach front villa. Lots of great restaurants to choose from. We particularly liked rockfish and kaito. Wild wadi water park is included and was good for for the children.

IndiaDespite Indians giving the maximum tourist business in Dubai as per record, we were a little disappointed at 1 restaurant. Otherwise it was excellent!
We had a butler facility at our villa. Our butler, Rohan was excellent. They had a beautiful surprise for us in the room. Our kids enjoyed free ice cream by the pool. All in all very luxurious!

United KingdomNot a thing. Perfect!
The location, with access to the private beach, a beautiful setting with Abra water taxis on hand to take you around the resort. A further 4 hotels with many exceptional restaurants to choose from was just perfect. The quality of accommodation was excellent, with lots of small extras that made our stay special. One of the things that really make this hotel special is the staff! They were faultless, special thanks to the Villa butler Aida who couldn’t do enough to help us, Aida was friendly and professional and her client care was exceptional and Jordan-Lee who looked after us at the French Riviera restaurant was lovely, she was just excellent, her customer care was also exceptional. And I have to mention the e-butler, a perfect and useful service that we took full advantage of. The Abra and buggy drivers were patient, friendly and helpful. The Abra drivers in particular were always happy to take photos for you. The restaurants were exceptional! This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning.

GreeceExceptional Stay at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf - A Hidden Gem of Dubai Our recent stay at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled between a private beach and lush gardens, this resort offers an unparalleled experience of seclusion and tranquility. The charm of Old Dubai, combined with rich Arabian traditions, is beautifully reflected in the design and ambiance of the exclusive summerhouses, making it a true celebration of Emirati heritage. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional service that exceeded all expectations. The front office staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless check-in process. They were very helpful and attentive with anything we asked for. A special mention must go to Buddhika, our housekeeper, whose dedication and meticulous attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. Also the warm hospitality and commitment to excellence by our butler Laura truly set the standard for luxury service. One of the highlights of our stay was the serene experience of gliding aboard a traditional abra boat through the peaceful waterways. This unique aspect of the resort adds a timeless elegance and a sense of romanticism that is perfect for couples. Additionally, the villas offer complete privacy, making them ideal for family gatherings and reunions with loved ones. The facilities and amenities at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf are top-notch, providing everything one could desire for a perfect getaway. The private beach, beautiful gardens, and luxurious accommodations all contribute to an atmosphere of relaxation and indulgence. We highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to experience the true essence of Dubai in a luxurious and intimate setting.

Saudi ArabiaThis is a personal feedback and may not apply to other guests 1. The toilet seat and couple of other features could have been modern and still fit with the heritage theme. 2. The e-butler could be more useful if they actually execute the request vs. redirecting you to another number to call.
A very warm welcome with a very disintguished and may I say VIP check in process where you are served with choices of beverages and snacks (also can self serve). The Villa where we stayed is connected to the Jumeirah properties along the beach with access to all the facilities such as Kids Club, Wild Wadi Park, Souk Madinat Jumeriah and 40+ restaurants. Movement in the resort can be via buggy service or Abra (small electric boat) which moves along a man made river giving the sense of Venice. The service is well organized by controllers who can contact different drivers/ captains and arrange a ride for you. The staff are all very friendly and help guests to give them a full tour of the property and take pictures. The villa we selected came with a butler (also accessible via Whatsapp known as E-butler). This is simply a concierge service that helps make the stay a little more comfortable. We were very grateful to the butler in villa 5 for her above and beyond support in arranging glass of milk for our young ones. Also the birthday celebration was amazing with cake, fresh fruits, dates and chocolates, balloons and towel art. Evening snacks and drinks were part of the villa which was a lovely touch when we returned from Wild Wadi. The kids club was a treat for us, where you can leave kids under the supervision of the staff there. They had a mini version of most indoor kids playbarea that kept our young ones busy and in safe hands. We would have liked to do the kids pool and splash play but didn't have time. It's worth making time for. The checkout experience was easy and right at the villa.

United KingdomWild wadi park access is complimentary as well as towels but a charge for lockers ? This is a real let down as one locker per room as a minimum should be provided considering all the other items are free. Waiting for buggies can be a pain and we have made suggestion to install buttons to call them at certain points around the complex as sometimes waiting in the heat is hard work when no shade around. Our villa had outside seating however this could not be used due to bird muck being constantly over the furniture we have recommended a cover to be installed above the wooden pagola. We didn’t stay half board but used the resteraunts both were good food but some of the staff seemed a little off and this can really stand out when the majority are excellent. Very busy trying to get a taxi at certain times from the front of al qasr this can be chaotic but in fairness Dubai can be in itself.
Very good check in from Santiago and butler Kuuba was excellent. Great hotel nice to have boats and buggies to take you around. Fantastic pools and beach as well as great selection of restaurants. Location is great for a resort and it doesn’t feel like you’re in Dubai when inside. But for more to do if you don’t like staying in the actual hotel and don’t want to get taxis everywhere I would recommend near the marina and walk. The hotel complex has a souk in the middle which is nice has coffee shops etc in them as well as currency exchange and retail. Nice views all around for the burj al Arab although it’s nice to have a glance inside we would recommend that only as the cafe we used for food was extremely good service but not to our tastes. This is a luxury hotel and I would recommend it.
