The rooms were small and awkward and the bed was not that comfortable. There was not enough room to open our medium sized AWAY luggage cases so they had to rest on the floor and block the area around the bathroom and bed ( they don’t fit on luggage racks unless closed). The shower nook faces the bed — at least it had frosted glass— and is literally 2 feet from the night stand. The toilet is behind a heavy door right when you come in the door and is impossible to find and open in the middle of the night. The small single sink stand is also right by the bed. The black walls and shabby chic mirror decor seems a bit out dated and contributed to an awkward vibe. We were in rooms 512 and 513 in an uncarpeted section of the hotel so maybe we were in overflow rooms to be used only when the hotel is full??

The only negative points were that our room was very cold despite climate control and it was not possible to eat in the hotel restaurant for dinner despite being hotel guests.

Nice and comfortable rooms, wonderful and unique interior design, helpful and friendly staff, great central location with plenty of options for public transport.

Shower is actually in the room where is the bed. The bartender on the rooftop terrace (Matthias as far as i remember) who was borderline aggressive to us. Otherwise it would be a 10/10. Parking is some 150m away from hotel..

The size of the room was a little smaller than expected, as mentioned above it was clear and comfortable which suited our single night stay however if we were away for longer a larger room without the shower in the room would have suited. If I were to return I would check the room size more when booking.

The hotel is really pretty and in a great location for exploring Vienna, we loved the rooftop pool and loungers which were super relaxing to visit and enjoy a coffee in the morning. The team working at the hotel were welcoming and helpful, looking after our bags after check out to accommodate our later onwards travel arrangements. The room itself was a little smaller than expected, with a shower in the room, but was clean and comfortable.

The hotel doesn't really have a lobby area or other public space where you can just sit and rest, though there are three restaurants on site. In the small area by the pool the loungers are crowded together but capacity was still insufficient for the number of guests wanting to use this amenity.

Superb location within easy walking distance of the main sites. Room was spacious and elegant, with a good shower though lacked a bath. Breakfast was very high quality and good variety but somewhat overpriced, even by the standards of this expensive city. Staff were unfailingly helpful and polite, with excellent service. Complimentary bottled water was offered in the room - a nice touch. The rooftop pool, though small, was very much appreciated after sightseeing in 30 degree heat.

Room was smaller than expected (judging from photos on booking.com). Moreover, the style of rooms with dark blue walls makes it feel even smaller, I didn't really enjoy staying in the room and always wanted to get out. Housekeeping forgot to throw out a used up pack of sweets before my check in in the room and it worsened my impression a bit - but the receptionist gave a voucher for a drink at the rooftop bar as an apology, that was a nice gesture from the hotel. View from the window in my room was into courtyard - and it wasn't very happy just looking at the wall. So if you have a chance to choose a room with another kind of view - do it :) Light in the room is either all ON or all OFF - I tried to make it less before going to sleep, to make a cosier feeling before sleep but after many attempts it wasn't possible, so it also made the impression of the room a bit worse. The terrace area of the rooftop restaurant is quite small and when all the tables are taken there it feels quite crowded and tight (on the terrace). Same about swimming pool. I really enjoyed it early in the morning when i was there on my own + then 2-3 more people came and it was still fine. But later when all the sunbeds are taken - it gets really tight and not very comfortable to be there. Also, if you are not fast enough in the morning to get a sunbed or you come later during afternoon - all sunbeds most probably will be already taken, that's how it was for me when I first came to check the pool at around 5pm - there were a couple of free sunbeds not yet renewed, with still wet towels from previous guests and it felt so tight with other people that I decided to come another time when there are less people.

First of all, of course swimming pool was great to look at and to swim in in the morning! :) spectacular view!! Sunbeds next to the pool are also very comfortable and soft, that was nice! ;) The location of the hotel is just great - in the center of Vienna, all museums and cathedrals are very close and you can have a great walk from the hotel to see everything without any need to use transport.

The room was a bit dreary and prison cell like - grey painted walls and no other decor to soften it. The room was also small and lacked any comfort and very little provision for storing clothes - no drawers but for some reason a huge suitcase with a mini fridge in it. Bedside tables were useless and had no storage so everything had to be put on top so very cluttered. The restaurant staff on the top floor were very inefficient and we had to go to them to get anything - we were also not directed to a table when we arrived. The food choices were very limited and I would have found better at a Travellodge or Holiday Inn Express. My wife is gluten intolerant and there were no gf cereals etc for her despite having informed the hotel beforehand.
