The resort itself is down a 7km gravel track so the car was filthy and it adds 10 minutes to your journey. We had a small hire car and it wasn't really a suitable surface for the car we had unfortunately.

Beautiful views with humpback whales swimming by. We'd booked a cliffside glamping tent which was a great size and really well equipped. Shower and WC facilities also good. Comfortable bed.

Nothing - we could not have been happier with our stay.

10/10 experience. The glamping space was stunning, with the entire front of the canvas tent opening to views of the mountains and ocean, where friendly seals visited almost every night and we even saw a group of dolphins swim by. The kitchen had everything we needed, BBQ, toaster, coffee pot, hot plate, and fridge; the bed was so comfortable, and the living area comfy and so spacious too; and the shared amenities (bathroom, shower) were consistently spotless. The food at the marina restaurant was delicious, and one of the wildlife tours we booked (discovery) picked us up from right in the harbor. I can't say enough about our stay here, if you're thinking about it -- book!

Wow! The peace and the views were absolutely wonderful. Our beautiful loft cabin came with nice quality decor, thoughtful touches and full kitchen gadgets for cooking. I enjoyed the blankets for cooler times sitting on the deck. The hot tub was open and a welcome bonus!!

COVID spoiled many things - the restaurant suffered staffing shortages--the larger area was closed. Accommodation was excellent.

Gas grill outside did not have gas. I'm not sure whether this was included or not. Thankfully the cooking facilities inside made up for it.

A very private glamping experience. A wonderful tent with a balcony attached and a very of The Narrows. Super comfy bed with well equipped kitchen and heater for if the nights got chilly. Shared facilities were the best i have used in many years of camping and caravaning. Great shower. Always clean.

The deck should have a screen door to keep the mosquitos out. It was nice to keep it open and get the ocean breeze. We had a few mosquitos to deal with but nothing major.

We always stay at least 2 days in a resort after camping to clean all our gear and clothes before heading home. We found Brown's Bay to be the perfect place. The cabins at Brown's Bay were close to each other but the outlooks were different directions so we never heard our neighbours. It was very well equipped and having the large washer/dryer to clean all our camping clothes and large dishwasher to clean all our camping cookware was great. We also had plenty of deck space to air out the rest of our camping gear. It was a very relaxing accommodation. The bonus was seeing many whales swim by and watching an eagle catch a fish and eat it right near the cabin.

Not a thing. Was as close to a perfect stay as one could imagine.

We loved everything about our stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable and very well equipped (extra blankets for the patio, a full complement of quality kitchen utensils, pots and pans, glasses, bowls, plates. etc.) and the gas fireplace kept us warm and toasty despite the chilly, wet weather. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. And what a view! Sea lions and seals daily in the bay. Eagles in the tree right in front of the cabin. Magnificent!

They allowed campers to set in front of us and it created a lot of noise. If you are lucky to not have this then the whole set up is perfect.
