The property is located in a quiet residential area, 30 minutes’ walk from the waterfall zone. I recommend this place to those who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the commercial area. The breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

The blue room was cute and spacious. It also has a balcony to relax on. Hostess was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was amazing. Could not get enough of the french toast!

The Inn obvously has some history. Would be good to know more about prevous ownership and when the place was built. You won't find many other places in Canada with as much history as this area has.

Robin's intel on the area was very helpful. The breakfasts she prepared for us were wonderful, and served with lots of hot coffe. Your location along the river is in town, but away from the skyscrapers and casino, which is refreshing. We would come back.

Robin was terrific. So accommodating. Her breakfast was divine. We would definitely recommend Chestnut Inn to anyone. Central to attractions. Bus stop right in front. Treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Fireplace however did not work due to previous guests turning the pilot off. A bit chilly.

The shower was difficult to use - shower head was too low and the shower curtain hung inside the tub so that your body was effectively wrapped in it. The pilot light in the fireplace was on, making the room too hot in late September.

Breakfast was great and the property was lovely. The hosts accommodated our late check-in. The bed/linens were very comfortable. WeGo stop was right outside, so it was convenient to get to and from the Falls without worrying about parking.

The shower and bath tub did fit the decor, but for older guests it was unsafe, since there was nothing to hold on to.

The breakfast was excellent 👌 one of the best breakfast I ever had in a B & B.

We stayed in the annex space and it was nice for two couples. It would be helpful to have a railing along the exterior stairs on the front entrance. The railing along the interior stairs was great. In advance I left a message that one in our party is gluten free. Unfortunately, the inn staff reported not receiving the message and at short notice did not have gf breakfast options available.

It does need maintenance and in the room it could use a handicap assist handle by the bathtub in the bathroom. Also, the bed was up quite high and there could have been an appropriate stool to get comfortably up in the bed.
