The cottage itself was fine and the bed was OK, but the inside of the cottage was not very clean, including the appliances. The walls were dirty and there were cobwebs in the conners, floor was sticky, the microwave was not clean, the fridge inside was not clean.

There was no breakfast included. The owner was not in the office when we got there , he was out back in the swimming pool with friends. He was friendly however. Had a cabin which was nice. Bathroom was quite small and cramped, we did appreciate the full size fridge where we could cool off our cooler contents and refreeze our ice packs. the pool was nice as well.

The bed rates as one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. The pillows sucked too. Room layout was poor. Clothing rack installed directly over the bedside table and large lamp (& no hangers). Also had to jiggle the room key repeatedly to access the room.

I couldn’t get to the property due to the devastating flash floods that closed many roads this July. They wouldn’t even offer me a refund when I called and spoke with them. Very disappointed with the service as they were not understanding of the situation nor did they speak with me beyond a brief “no” after going through all proper channels to cancel.

Location was perfect for me. The Staff was Great to me. They helped me with booking another two Nights when I had an emergency situation. They even gave me a little Price Break on the additional two Nights. I will definitely Book here again.

Although I thought it was great that they had installed a heat pump, I ended up turning it off as I prefer to sleep cool and the air was blowing directly in my face.

Being off-season I was the only one there. The room and bathroom were recently reno'd and clean. Central location suited my needs.

The door on room 5 had to be slammed . The room was freezing when we got there. There was no book in room telling us where places were like stores and restaurants. No place to eat breakfast

The cottage was a throwback to the sixties. The loveseat was grungy feeling all though the place was generally clean. Seemed well insulated and the air conditioning worked well. There is a slant to the building which makes the shower/tub a little funny to stand in. Generally it is okay. I would stay there if I had to but it is not a destination in itself.

No Breakfast. Called riverside, but there is just a small creek. I was expecting more of a view.

Check in wasn't until 2pm. We arrived, after drivinig 4 hours, around 1pm and they wouldn't let us check in until 2pm. But my cousins who arrived approx. 30 minutes before us (around 12:30pm) were checked in. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash and there was a taped garbage bag on our bathroom window.

The ratings and pictures online looked great! Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. We arrived too late in Shelburne (about 8pm) and nearly all the restaurants were closed. Our room, though it looked as if they were in the process of renovating wasn’t particularly clean (dirty floors), and there was a window right next to the shower with no curtain. The window looked directly into another property. When we brought up this concern the woman at the desk just said they were still renovating and didn’t get to putting a curtain up yet. Just overall a bit of a let down from what we expected based on ratings online.

It appeared that they are attempting to update the rooms.
