Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumIf you don't like staying in a secluded place, you shouldn't book here. As we arrived by train, we didn't have another option than eating every evening in the hotel and there was nothing else to do during the evenings. We didn't mind though. Basic wellness in the hotel
Nice, cozy and clean rooms within a nice hotel building. The restaurant has good food, which is important as there are no alternative locations dinner options in the little village. We went for a shortski in Les Diablerets, which can be easily reached by train from Le Sépey.

United KingdomNothing ... everything was perfect
My stay here was perfect. A fast train from Geneva to Agile then a cute train up through the mountains to Le Sepey. Hotel was a few minutes walk from the station. It was from this station I got the train and bus up meet the cable cars up to Glacier 3000. So ideally suited for public transport. The hotel was spotless and everyone was so friendly. My room was perfect as it had a balcony and good in size. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner ... well the rosti was sheer perfection. There is a small shop, that seemed to sell everything, and a bakery/coffee shop just around the corner. Although I didn't get the snow in the village it was up on the mountains so I hope to go back when summer flowers are in full bloom.

SwitzerlandThe village is quaint but lacks any significant attractions, however the train station is very near and connects to many nearby places.
Awesome little hotel, spacious room, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was great, staff very nice and we ended up eating at the convenient restaurant every night one of our 7 nights due to the varied options and reasonable prices for huge portions. The sauna and steam room were the cherry on the cake.

United KingdomNothing, everything was perfect!
My favourite hotel I stayed at on my December Switzerland trip! Very kindly they gave me a big room that was more like a little apartment. Beautiful little living area, wooden stairs up to the bedroom part, and a beamed ceiling! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was amazing, so much choice (also recommend the rosti for dinner)! And the hotel was wonderfully decorated for Christmas. Very close to the train station, and all the staff I met were very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

SwitzerlandWe liked everything. Only things that we can mention about downside are the shower room drain was slow - it could be cleaned. The washing basin‘s faucet didn’t have equal water pour due to limestone. But that are just minor things. We truly loved staying in the hotel.
Very clean and spacious . The bed was very comfortable. The well-being facility was very nice too. The food at the restaurant was super good. The hotel is very close to the station.

FranceBuild in a chalet style , the hotel is modern , rooms are spacious and well decorated. All was clean and well organised. We had parking available in front of the hotel. They also have a nice terrace. The village is small , but very picturesque. Close to glacier 3000 area ,15 min by car . Breakfast was very nice, with sweet and salty options, good coffee and croisants. We also had dinner there (there are no other places to eat within walking distance ) and the menu was varied, with traditional and modern options. Prices were affordable. We enjoyed so much our rostis! Staff was friendly and helpful .
