Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

- Brilliant location — 2 minute walk from Zurich Central Station - Modern, stylish boutique hotel above a great café - Staff excellent and very accommodating, especially with requests like balcony rooms for special occasions - Balcony room made a big difference to the stay, especially in hot weather - Great communication via WhatsApp, very responsive - Room was clean, modern and fresh throughout - Very quiet despite being next to a major train station (excellent soundproofing) - Spacious, modern bathroom with good toiletries - Huge modern TV with streaming (Netflix etc.) - High-quality coffee machine in room with decent pods - Air conditioning was very effective during unusually hot weather - Coop supermarket directly across the road — very convenient for snacks, drinks, lunches etc. - Clear instructions for arrival and access - Self check-in was quick and seamless (a couple of minutes)

United StatesCheck in was clumsy. I had done the pre checkin as requested, but there was quite a line at the single kiosk connected to preparing the digital key card and some people were having to enter all the information in. The whats app provided directions focused on using a code to enter the outside door, but the code machine was not responding. It took a bit to realize the door was not locked, opening in (I had only tried pulling on the door! Oops) to a pretty dark hallway, through another door, and then through another door into the connected café to get the key card. Directions could have been clearer. Bar manager was very nice. One of our windows, which looked over the train station -neat view- did not have a curtain or shade. Brackets were there but no way to close out light.
LOCATION! We wanted a place for one day and night near the train station. This is about 2 blocks away. Easy walk, no traffic. We were on 4th floor, so there were sections of slanted ceiling walls with dormer windows cut to provide some light and extra height and space. My 6'2" husband did just fine. It was quiet and clean. The soft pillows and duvets were dreamy. Good water pressure and plenty of outlets. There is a rooftop terrace up a flight of stairs from the 4th floor, but it was cold and rainy so we did not go up. It's an easy walk to the river, restaurants and old town.

AustraliaOn arrival there was a broken piece of the shower bracket sitting on the bathroom bench. Obviously someone was aware it was broken but not fixed. I reported this & was advised someone would be there to fix it the following day, didn’t happen. Shower head could be used hanging it over bracket but it flooded the bathroom. Disappointing considering the cost.
