We were there during a heatwave and yes we appreciated the fans in the rooms it was still incredibly hot. I don't know how this can be fix other than to put air conditioning but it was really difficult to sleep.

The system for WiFi was changed from my last visit last year, and there was not adequate proper information. But once I called offline reception, they assisted and manage to resolve the matter.

For my work appointment, it is a perfect location right next to the funiculaire, so it is very easy and convenient for travel purposes. Breakfast is adequate and more importantly a great coffee to start your day. Rooms are spacious and clean and have a very comfortable bed. TV system is also useful in that it can cater for 4 main languages.

Breakfast was excellent. Everything about this hotel is Top rated for the price. The only issue with the rooms near reception is that they are not sound proof so you hear EVERYTHING. Not for light sleepers.

As a walker it was great to be able to let yourself into the hotel via an access code. If arriving early on a hot day you can quickly access your room. Breakfast was good.

Basically, there is nobody to receive you. You enter the hotel via code which is mailed to you in advance, and the first person you see is the waitress for the breakfast next morning. Therefore, a bit impersonal. Our room was in the basement under the terrace, with a window towards the Alps in the distance, however, still a bit dark. Rooms in the main building might be more attractive. Ask for a room on an upper floor.

Hotel nicely located on a hill overlooking the landscape. Ample free car parking directly in front. Easy access to the centre of the village. Good breakfast. Room spacious and well equipped. All in all, a comfortable stay and reasonable price-service relation.

There was nothing that I did not like. The only thing that made my stay a bit less comfortable was the fact that the choice of restaurant in the end led me to take the bus and train to nearby Lausanne. The only restaurant I was interested in was closed on Monday. There again the hotel had given me choices lining out what food was yes/no available locally so I was prepared.

The interaction with the hotel beforehand was already a pleasure. Quick responses and to the point. This was only confirmed at check in. A reception like a reception should be. The next highlight was the room. It was spacious and friendly. The view from the room - 31 - was wonderful and I am only sorry I could only stay one night. The breakfast the next morning which would help me cover the next hike of 30km was superb. Fresh orange juice. Great coffee. A selection of small pieces of cheese, jams, fresh fruit and all accompanied by lovely fresh croissants. Topped by delivery with a smile and an open attitude for yet another request for coffee or something special. All in all the best hotel on my journey that week. I can only recommend it strongly.

We booked the room last minute, and got the one under the roof. Using bathtub or taking shower required some efforts because of lack of space; we can hardly imagine anybody with a height above average using it.

Hotel provides great access to hiking trails in the area, plus only 30 min drive from the hotel are numerous Jura hiking areas. Good location in the town with many restaurants around. Staff speaks perfect English, was very helpful and helped to resolve our minor troubles. Overall, we will be happy to come back

Expensive for what you got. One shower towel but heated towel rail turned off for summer. Did not dry by morning. Told to dry on deck. wifi didn’t work. Waited 25 mins for a person to come in to do it. Gave out the details knowing a staff member had to set it up.

Nice cosy hotel next to public transport, at a short distance from Lausanne. We had a big room with a magnificient view on the Alps. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast were local cheeses, home-grown ham, and home-made jam. The owner and her daughter were very kind. A perfect place where to stay close to Lausanne and next to the Jura, with many possibilities for walking & cycling.
