Very attentive hotel entrepreneur who contacted me via WhatsApp to give advices for the arrival. Friendly waitresses in restaurant. Room always clean. Good view on opposite mountains. Calm in the nights.

The room description (Deluxe Room with balcony) includes a coffee and tea maker, but there was no coffee maker in the room. The manager on duty offered us hot beverages from the bar, but charged us for these beverages at checkout!!

Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed. We had a Deluxe Room with balcony. The view towards the river valley was beautiful! Free parking for hotel guests.

It was supposed to include a free boat trip but the boats were stopped as the river dried up. We should have got a discount. This was the main reason we went to Les Brenets. We had pizzas - not so good - but the Cesar salad we had for lunch was very nice.

Nice rooms with balconies overlooking the river. Hervé on reception was a really nice guy and very helpful in many ways.

As it was off season, the radiator in the room was switched on that morning. From mid-afternoon to when I left the following morning, it was 15-16°. I advised the reception staff, who came up to see, and informed me it was absolutely normal, as the external temperature got lower the room would get warmer, and nothing could be done. When I pointed out that I would have to turn the noisy radiator off to be able to sleep, I was told that it would still heat the room... obviously it didn't. The following morning, I informed the manager of the issue, who said he would get it seen to. Such a shame, since otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

splendid vew on the lake of les Brenets and the border of France. Riche breakfast (sweet croissant, tarte au citron, fruits, coffee). two nice terrasses for summer, eat and drink outside.

Guest parking was difficult to find. Dinner service started well but slowed down considerably as the evening progressed.

Only downside was the bathroom, it was not much bigger than an aircraft bathroom, Shame as it looked to be fairly recently renovated they could have taken an extra meter or so from the room as the rooms were quite spacious.

Lovely location for a few days on the river. Super room, clean, great view but tiny bathroom. Restaurant was great, good food and great view over the river from the terrace. Staff friendly and helpful.

Small things - a plug in the room didn’t work, a light bulb didn’t work, the buffet breakfast offer was stingy: one croissant per person, teeny tiny cuts of cheese/meats.

Landscape and overall quietness of the location, although the climate machines of the house were on, all night long.

Very outdated rooms Cheap furnishings (ikea) Tiny bathroom. Partition with door did not even reach the floor. Towell rails under wash basin unusable. Hardly room to sit in toilet and be able to close door. Tourist information on arrival was incorrect - specifically a boat left 20 minutes after our arrival but we were told none were going anymore that day. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Breakfast staff very friendly.

Evening meal a little disappointing, very ordinary mixed salad, for the price. You pay for the view.

The reception staff were REALLY helpful and found out what we needed to know Location is fabulous Free boat trip on the lake/river to the waterfall abd walk back the perfect way to end the day.
