Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JerseyHonestly nothing. It is a great hotel for business travellers.
The comfort, space, location and a nice varied breakfast. Also felt very safe for a female travelling alone.

United KingdomThe double bed was actually two singles pushed together which if I pay for a double bed i'd expect a double bed with one mattress. This meant that there was then a ridge between myself and my partner which wasn't particularly comfortable. Also the Ticino card would have been useful if it were given in advance then we could have made use of it on our journey to Lugano.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, from breakfast staff to house keeping, especially the gentleman at reception who gave us recommendations about visiting Morcote. Location was great, arrived by train to Paradiso which is a 5 min walk to the hotel. Its also a short walk to the lake, where we were at one end and could walk lakeside to Lugano to the other side. Also conveniently located next to the funicular to the top of the mountain for 360 panoramic views.

Maltathat you had to pay for the parking. I don't expect to pay for the parking when I'm a Guess in a Hotel, and the parking was quite expensive, compared with other parkings near by.
Breakfast and the Room. Location wasn't that much of an issue cause I had the car. The parking was expensive, nrmally it's free paking when you're staying at the Hotel as Guest.

United KingdomLovely hotel. The room was small, but we were a family of 4 sharing. Lovely little extras for the kids and great advice from reception as to where to eat nearby. The pool was small but absolutely brilliant and the area around it was a lovely place to relax. Fantastic breakfast which we ate by the pool.

IsraelThe eggs at breakfast are by menu - cost additional money besides simply boiled and scrambled. Very strange solution in room: the bathroom wall is of glass, when light is on - you cannot sleep.
The staff in reception and in restaurant is friendly. The is OK, pretty big with cool water. The is generally OK. The air conditioning is superb!!! The parking is spacious. The hotel provides gratis cards for water transportation - very nice!

United KingdomImmaculately clean with a lovely spacious lobby and restaurant area. The rooms are comfortable - if expensive - for a family of four and the swimming pool is a great addition. A mere hop from the lake, too. The breakfast buffet is impressive and staff are friendly and hugely helpful.

NetherlandsOur car didn’t fit in the underground car park as it has a height restriction of 2.1m. Parking on the street is only allowed between 19-07am. Luckily we found a public car park nearby which was actually cheaper im the end.
Typical chain hotel so you know what you get. Breakfast was excellent. The cost was a little high but Switzerland is expensive and this was a great location.
