Nice room great view, good breakfast

The bathroom can't be locked. We were a family of four with two little kids so it was a bit inconveniet. The dinner menu didn't have many vegetarian options No refrigerator to save our toddler's milk

The breakfast was basic but enough and the view in the resturant was amazing It was great that we could book the spa (sauna + steam room + showers). It gives the needed privacy

No internet in the rooms (or very weak). Our family was not allowed to stay in one room: two adults + 2 sons, since the eldest son was 20 years old. We had to pay for one more room, although our family room had 4 beds, and it was more convenient for us to live together as a family (one suitcase with all things).

Cozy hotel, delicious breakfast and dinner, 10 min walk to the ski lift. Excellent customer oriented staff.

Nothing. Everything was just as we wanted it.

Breakfast was simple but very fresh and tasty, with the views over the valley from the breakfast room and restaurant being stunning. My single room was small but very comfortable. Especial thanks to the hotel for operating a free shuttle service from the hotel to the main ski lifts and back. This was extremely welcome and made our trip much more comfortable.

The bed and the pillows, unfortunately, were not that comfortable.

The stuff was very friendly and eager to help. The location was very beautiful. Our room was clean and had the perfect view.

Hotel under staffed, especially in restaurant and breakfast area. Front desk was going to double charge me if I didn't say that I had paid already online.

Facilities bit old. Rooms/bathrooms needs to be upgraded. Poor carpet. Road to the hotel - poor. Very limited breakfast. Better option would be to charge extra for the breakfast, but provide more options like scrambled eggs, omletes, fried eggs, pancakes.

Staff makes your stay amazing. Hotel is in a good location and has amazing views. Easy access to town and ski lifts. Hotel offers free drop off and pick up from the ski lift too. Which makes a big difference after long day skiing.

Dont have transport from Engelberg Train Station to hotel. Very hard walk with bags along the snowy rain on the road.

It's a very cosy place where you can relax and also enjoy some activities around! The view is exceptional and the staff are quite nice! The restaurant offers great food too! Great place with value for money!

The location is not too close to the main road, but not bad.

The room has a balcony with a view of Engelbery. It's also pleasant to sit by the dining room window and look out at the scenery while having breakfast.

Charming Alpine hotel with a cosy lounge, stunning views and good food. A dream for first time visitors to Switzerland. The staff were so friendly and helpful - special thanks to Tim. Room was a bit old style but spacious, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for a stay in beautiful Engelberg.

As said in the previous comments (but yet the hotel's fault though), it's mostly a gravel path to get to the hotel (10-12 min walk from the train station). We didn't mind since we had packed light, but keep that in mind if you have a lot/heavy luggage.

Check in is very late, at 16h00 a clock only, but they allowed me to leave my bag there.

This hotel was a nice find, bringing beautiful views, an excelent breakfast and a great price all together. It is close by many hikes surrounding Engelberg. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back.

I was having booked a single room with balcony and i was given a room with double bed but ground floor. That room if you intend to stay in the room is not the best option or for a longer stay. You have the wood at your window no much light in the room! It suited me.. As I was there just for sleep. Otherwise quiet and comfy room!

The location of this hotel is breath taking! The restaurant is also very good!
