Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I like the setting of 2 bedrooms and has ensuites for each. The dining and lounge is very spacious and stunning for me. Looking new building. Very homely, I like woods and set up of the building. Staff are approachable. Calm area. Accessible to bus stop, store, restaurant. Easy access to trains via bus first. Beautiful place

Property is good but the location is bit far from the centre, but maybe thats the reason prices are lower. bathroom keys were not working so asked for help, probably the previous guests misplaced it.
2-bed was good with a spacious living room. Staff were really good and helpful.

As there are glasses, which are road facing in the ground floor, Privacy was a bit of concern.
Room was near the bus stand, so reachable in 10 mins from Interlaken Main station. Kitchen facilities were available. Good value for money, of full occupancy is used.

We had a fantastic stay at this house! The service was top-notch, and all the necessary amenities were thoughtfully provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, giving us the cozy vibe of being in one of our own big houses. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’d happily recommend this place to others!

The hotel is located right in front of a busy street so everyone can see what’s going on inside when windows are opened, it’s pricey for what one gets.
We had everything we needed for our one-night stay, easy self-check-in since we got late in our arrival.

The washbasin seems to be experiencing some blockage.
The accommodation is conveniently located within a short distance from the bus stop, allowing for easy access. The rooms are impressively spacious and feature a well-equipped small kitchen for added convenience. Furthermore, the bathrooms are clean, and the surrounding outside area offers a delightful view. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking comfortable and convenient accommodation.

On a big street with tremendous amount of traffic. Have to close the windows but it was so hot without opening the window. Sent us to a room that was not cleaned. We have to wait until 5 or 6 pm before going into a clean room.

The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We had a spacious apartment with a kitchen, which was great for preparing our own meals. And each bedroom (we had 3 bedrooms) has a toilet. The traditional Swiss chalet style of the building adds to the charm and gives you that authentic Alpine experience.

Nonprofessional staff, staff hanging out with the entire family and friends around, talking loud on the phone and listening to loud music. Not respecting guests'comfort and privacy. The pictures of the rooms and reality don't match. We got a basement type room, very isolated, dark, right the opposite side of the over busy laundry room. By complaining to the management, they expected me to pay extra to change my room.
Only the area and beautiful surroundings and nature.
