Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

2 easy chairs would have been better than 1, and a microwave would have been a bonus.
The room was spacious, and had a little kitchenette, also coffee machine & kettle. There were 2 dining chairs & good-sized table, and the twin beds were comfortable. The shower was very good and powerful, and the whole place was really clean. There was an easy-to-use safe in our room. Just round the corner were 2 supermarkets & regular public transport.

The apartment was too hot and it was hard to figure out whether radiators are controlled by external switchers on the walls or the knob (not sure anything worked as after switching everything off the radiators were still producing heat)

Very old forniture, moquette in room. temperature was very hot inside as usual in these hotels in winter/spring...so we had to open windows. Kitchen quite small, but enough for cooking light meal.
Staff very friendly and useful. Room clean. Position very good, particularly with public transport (complimentary).

The hotel's age was noticeable, and I wished for more bathroom amenities like lotion or conditioner. However, the biggest issue was the noise from a nearby bar, making it difficult to sleep. Double-glazed windows would have been a welcome addition to minimize this disturbance.
During my stay at Hotel Sagitta, I appreciated the spacious room, modern kitchenette, impeccable cleanliness, and comfortable mattress. These features made for a truly enjoyable experience.

The room is old but it has a little modern kitchen with all the necessary equipments. Markets and restaurants are just located outside the hotel. The walking distance to the town center is fairly ok.

The location of hotel was good, a short walk to bus stops. There was a supermarket 3 minutes walk away. The kitchenette was a welcome asset. It was basic but ample to snake a breakfast or lunch. The bed was comfy with fresh white linen. When staying in hotels in Geneva you get free use of public transport

Rooms felt’s old. It hasn’t been remodeled for awhile.

Would love to have a washing machine in the room as it is big enough. The shower is with the bath-tub and it had a height to 'climb' in hence might not be friendly to those with mobility issues.
The location is good with walking distance to public transport. The room is apartment-like and comfortable for a small family.

The hotel is old, and there are a lot of things that should be refurbished. Also, to get to the 7th floor, only a very tiny elevator.
We stayed in a good large room, on the seventh floor. The beds were comfortable. The location is perfect. People in the reception were very kind, and the room was quiet. I believe it is a good option "quality-price".

It was great that breakfast was provided. But we did have to wait certain mornings for the staff to top up certain foods that had already run out.
We were there for a conference and it was really near our conference venue. Beds were very comfy too.

The hotel advertises that it has air conditioning, but it is very weak and almost non-existent.

This hotel is well priced and an easy walk to main ‘attractions’. You also get free public transport during your stay so very easy to get around. The room comes with a kitchen which is rare in hotels in this price range so that is a bonus. Paid parking on site.
