I liked everything!

We will definitely return to this paradise. We loved the accommodations, the food, the grounds with beautiful trees and flowers, the wonderful staff especially Juan who made our visit so peaceful and beautiful as he arranged the dinner on the beach with flower petals and a bonfire for my daughter and her boyfriend who took this occasion to propose marriage! We adored the long pool where I could swim laps, and last, but not least, the empty beach where we could enjoy the lovely sea and view of the mountains. It was especially nice to enjoy the sea and beach at sunrise! Oh, and one more thing- the birds were stunning with their colors and songs, great for a bird watcher like me!

A suggestion would be to provide information for the bus system for the larger busses back to Santa Marta. Otherwise I can think of anything else.

Everything was amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing place to unwind with great food and amazing staff, this is the place. Drink and food service at the beach and pool. Highly Recommend the mixed ceviche. Massages on site. Hot water showers and breakfast with several options to choose from. Good WiFi. You can also hike to a nearby waterfall for the afternoon. Highly recommended. I will be back when I can stay longer!

A quite paradise at the Caribbean coast. La Mar de Bien is a small boutique hotel which is ideal for people that do not seek big parties and want to avoid the commotion that comes with many people. It is a beautiful and exclusive space to relax and recover. Staff is very friendly and pays 1:1 attention to all guests. A wonderful place, we loved it!

Beautiful and relaxing. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious with quite an extensive menu. Loved having tea and coffee available all day. Air con great and very welcomed. Massage on the beach is a must - the quality for 120k pesos was excellent.

If there was iced coffee and if you could drink out of a coconut I would have rated the place a 12 ;) Just kidding, there is nothing serious to complain about.

We loved this place. The location is great, quiet but also you can do small hikes from there and also go to the Tayrona park very easily. You have direct access to the sea which is very rough but beautiful and if you don't like it you can also swim and relax in the pool. Room was very nice and clean. Food is amazing, it's not cheap but that's something we knew beforehand and it was very delicious. Staff is friendly and very welcoming.

This was the best hotel on our entire trip through South America! Beautiful pool and beach area and nice and spacious rooms. The food was also very tasty and the staff was super friendly and so helpful with everything! We extended twice! Highly recommend!!

Our stay at La Mar de Bien was a living dream! The staff was so warm, welcoming and helpful. Samantha and Alfredo are very sweet and attentive. The room we stayed in was Mar Picao was beautiful and very comfortable and spacious. We had a beautiful view of the premises and two hammocks on the terrace to lounge in as well. My husband and I are both vegan and they made sure to have a vegan menu for us. The breakfast is included in the stay and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the pool and the beach which are both on the premises of the hotel. Our main goal was to see El Parque Tayrona and the hotel is 15 min away from the park. We also got to book a tour through the hotel to see Rio Don Diego. Our tour guide was amazing! We learned so much of the history of the river and the indigenous history of the area. He picked up us up and dropped us back off to the hotel as well. If you're into nature, beautiful scenery, and a quaint, chill vibe then La Mar de Bien is the place to stay. We will be back!

We loved it all.

The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, the site is beautiful, calm and quiet. A wonderful, peaceful place to relax and enjoy! Within walking distance of some beautiful natural attractions. The land is enormous for a limited capacity of guests, often times we had the pool / beach to ourselves. The beach has a natural rugged beauty to it that we personally prefer to manicured all-inclusive resort type beaches. The whole place has a familial, inclusive vibe to it. Felt like we were staying with family or friends. Great for kids.

Beautiful place, the rooms were perfect, clean, comfortable and big, has a pool and just 2 min walking from the beach. The staff are really friendly and the owners are always taking care of the needs of the guests.
