While I knew it was a self-service check-in, I found it a bit difficult to get in touch with hotel management. I tried calling the number provided, for instance, and after waiting for five minutes, someone picked up and hung up. I think if you speak Czech, it is easier, as the hotel staff also does not speak English. The walls were also quite thin, so I would not recommend this hotel for a light sleeper.

Hotel Katerina's location is ideal, and the view is really wonderful. The check-in was surprisingly easy. The breakfast was also quite good. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was kind as well.

The automatic check in process was all in Czech which for a non speaker was troubling and difficult. It needs a language selection like on ATM machines.

We were given an opportunity to use a wellness - jacuzzi bath. Having an hour at 7pm. Very much appreciated - THANK YOU. Somehow it happened that we were sent to the wellness room a couple of minutes later, but a very friendly staff gave us these minutes back, which means we could stay a couple of minutes longer after 8pm. All was very nice, friendly, and enjoyable. However, what a surprise when we received an invoice for a 1.5hour 'romantic' wellness rather than our 1hour basic wellness which we wanted. We used only the jacuzzi tub for one hour, not using any drink or any other advantages of 'romantic wellness'. This invoice mistake spoiled our 100% positive view of the hotel. We are still not sure why we paid 1.5hour.

Our room was prepared on time, clean, and with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was very much appreciated. The property, comfort, and welcoming staff exceeded our expectations.

Wellness is pricey. And you clearly can hear louder guests from other rooms because of thin walls.

Very nice and professional staff. Small hotel with a personal touch (even the self check-in does no harm to this). Breakfast is excellent and also here, the friendly staff takes care of individual requests. Wellness area is both very clean and private. Location near a beautiful natural park.

The spacious apartment had a marvellous view over the Dyja river valley. The location is excellent, in the old city centre. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Katerina.

It was difficult to moderate the room temperature. AC clod air flow was directed to bed and so it was making us feeling cold. And to open the window, there was noise device on outside wall.

We enjoyed the location with direct access to town center. Also very convenient parking was handy and safe. Room had great bathroom and shower. Breakfast was great, with amazing view to the valley.

The room(No.8.) was a single one for two of us.The bed you could reach only by climbing in. As a single room it could have been spacy enough but for two it was more than narrow.

Our room was way too cold for our taste. We even called the reception whether the heating could be changed. The receptionist was very kind, but the temperature stayed the same. The duvet was enough for the night, but talking, reading in the armchairs, while staring to the view was impossible. During the breakfsat we had the same experience. The dining area was that cold that we needed our coats. Also the pictures suggested a bit richer breakfast. For vegans, vegetarians I wouldn't recommend the place at all. The bathroom was nice and tidy, but in the upper corners (at least in room 5) there were big black mold stains. Allergic people might have some troubles because of that.

The accomodation is at a very nice spot in the lovely city of Znojmo. The online check-in was fine with us, although it took a while to figure out that the system needs a full, proper address, but instead of typing, the customer has to choose from a drop-down menu. Anyway, in the end we entered. :) The staff was very friendly and nice.
