Quite noisy because of bad sound insulation, you can hear voices and people passing by outside the door. The water in the shower was barely warm.The room has dirty floors and walls in some places. Overall completely unreasonable 4 stars and price for the hotel

The lady managing the breakfast room was unfriendly and unhelpful so my husband decided to have it elsewhere. The hotel can do with some updating...and we reported a bulb which needed replacing in the bathroom which was never done. We ddn't ask again.

Hotel is very cozy, but at same time bit outdated. Would suggest to make some cosmetic renovation. In breakfast I would appreciate some warm food, but only available was boiled egg. Of course, bread, salami, cheese was very good, as well breakfast flakes was wide choice.

Staff was very friendly and it was pleasure to communicate with them! Hotel and room was clean. Location also is good. Close to old city and also central station.

Breakfast is not very good for the price they offer, some staff doesn't even speak English. One of the staff during a night shift in the reception was very nice to us, but there was one of them in the other days that was kinda rude.

Location was good, near little tokyo with public transport options. Room was clean and big, which was nice.

The staff didn't seem to interested in helping with complaints. There was a motion activated faucet installed in the room. Because of a design flaw, the water would turn on every 15-20 minutes. The running water was loud and came on all through the night all through out my stay. We I asked the staff to do something about it, I was told basically to deal with it.

Things are starting to look a bit worn and dated. Furniture is pretty bear up. Lots of marks, smears and scratches on doors and walls. Could use a REALLY deep clean and lick of paint.

Most of the critics are correct - you hear everyone passing by the room and the bed was not really comfortable. Pro tip: in some rooms there are sensors for the water faucet. These sensors are working too good and providing water ca. once per hour unannounced - also during the night. On day 2 I got the advice to disconnect the sensor beneath the sink - that helps significantly! I really do hope that the renovation plans are coming along fast.

I liked the breakfast despite the missing scrambled eggs, they are making the best out of the budget! The staff overall is aware of the situation and helps where it can. The room was cleaned every day.

The hotel represents a 3-star standard. I really missed a fridge/minibar from my room, and the double room in which I stayed (on the 1st floor) was quite small, thus it is more convenient for single use or for short stays.

Convenient location just a few minutes walking from Königsallee and Altstadt. Great variety of fresh fruits and a tasty continental breakfast. A good price/value hotel in the heart of Düsseldorf.

The member of staff was off hand, I got the feeling he didn't want to be there. I asked why there were so many police cars, riot police around (I had searched but didn't know why), he was disinterested. Later on I saw a pro Palastinian protest. The room was noisy.

The shower’s water pressure was very temperamental, spraying a high pressure jet of water all over the bathroom. Even when we tried turning the shower on low, after a short time the pressure would suddenly increase making the shower head spray all over the bathroom! Whole room was a little dated but you get what you pay for!

Location is perfect, off site parking very close and walking distance from the Altstadt and train station.

Staff way of talking was very bad, housekeeping came to room saying your checkout time is coming empty the room, was most disrespectful behaviour i have ever seen. I have complaint it on reception also during checkout but those were also not really supportive.

a) It doesn't have an iron in the room b) Swipe in-card system in doors was a bit old Deducting 2 marks overall as it claimed to be 4 star but its actually should be a 3 star as the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, & nobody going to come to help you with big luggage etc. But you are also not paying for a 4 star isn't it ? ;)
