Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsWe had a small room this time - a tight fit. But for one night that’s just fine.
Comfortabel beds and clean bathroom. Breakfast buffet is very good. Easy check-in via WhatsApp. Always a pleasure to stay here, near the Thermen.

BulgariaThe room was on the small side, but still comfortable. Self check in could be a bit tricky despite clear description sent via WhatsApp and booking app. Only German TV. Breakfast is basic.
Great location for the bath, 5 min from a public paid car park; clean, warm, comfortable.

NetherlandsRoom request was done for 1 double bed and 1 single bed but it was three individual beds. Since it was late evening we tried to arrange those 2 sofa beds together ourselves but still those beds had fair enough gap that was not comfortable to use as double bed. Even though whole room and bathroom looked very neat and clean.Upon moving beds we noticed lot of dust and dirt below beds that was never cleaned.(if beds was already arranged we would have never bothered may be or otherwise never seen this) Room heaters was turned on max when we checked in evening so it was too warm and suffocating on this Nov rainy day as well. I couldn't find any other heat control options so manually turned down all heater knobs and also had to keep windows open Room 6 location on opposite building and the corridor was fully dark and light sensors dont turn on until we reach close to the building front gate.So around 10pm when we reached it was not comfortable to walk in.
Location very close to Thermal bath and many restaurant options near by. Big public parking space within 500 m. Within 2 km can reach main attractions like Cathedral,Christmas markets etc Decent Breakfast.Though no staff available at the time of checkin ( we reached around 5pm on Saturday). Detailed videos on WhatsApp on how to get the keys, room location (ours was opposite on outside the main hotel building) etc was shared which was helpful and stress free. Though I didn't use room had small kitchen and other facilities to make tea/coffee. Had a tower fan which was very much useful for us.

IsraelThe rooms are good size but with a bit tight bathrooms. . still generally was ok. I got two rooms for my family. But one of them was across the street in another building. I would have preferred the two rooms close to each other or at least in the same building. Especially that i booked months before arrival. The room across the street had some spider and moist bug but overall were clean. The room in the main building was clean , but had a glass door for a narrow stairwell with a metal ladder, it was full of dirt and of course not a nice view , so I left the curtains closed. Two staff ladies, one of them in charge of the breakfast was not nice enough, she should show a more welcoming attitude. She never even smiled. To us.
Overall it was ok. The rooms were spacious and decently.clean. the breakfast was nice too.

IrelandThe mattress was too soft, but this is my personal opinion.
We really liked our family room which was very spacious and clean. There was not a big choice for breakfast but was good, a bit of everything. The staff was also nice and friendly.

SwedenThe traffic on the street outside was a bit disturbing during the night if one slept with the window open.
The breakfast was excellent. In addition to the customary there were also dishes with Middle Eastern/Persian origin.

UkrainePersonally, I didn’t enjoy the breakfast much — most of the food was too salty or spicy for my taste, but this is a matter of personal preference.
I recently started selecting accommodation not only based on location and value for money, but also considering room size. This property exceeded expectations — the room was spacious and included additional furnishings such as small tables, a kitchenette-like area, and a sofa. The room looked bright and inviting in the photos, and I was pleased to see that it matched the reality. The bed was comfortable. Although the walk to the city centre took around 15–20 minutes, the location worked well for us, as the thermal baths were just a short distance away. Visiting the baths was a great way to unwind after a full day.

United KingdomSo much cheese for breakfast! A bit noisy outside on the main road but it did quieten down at bed time. No decaffeinated coffee (they seemed to not even have heard of it!) or decaf ordinary tea, althought there were herbal teas. No milk, only creamer, so not great in tea. It was a bit far walking from the station with our large suitcase. Should've got a cab or bus!
(This is a duplicate review because we ended up staying an extra night, so had the opportunity to submit twice.) It was easy to get in. The instructions given were clear, although you have to use WhatsApp to get the code for your key card in the morning before 10am (their time), which not everyone may have, and also, take note if you have a time zone difference. I don't know what happens if you don't WhatsApp them on time! Staff were welcoming and helpful. They are not on the premises from around 11am. Even though it wasn't a huge establishment, there was a lift, which was handy for heavy luggage. Plenty of tea and coffee, creamer, a kettle. A fridge was an added bonus, so we could store our fresh food for the next day. Bed and pillows super comfy. The double glazing kept out the noise of the road when the window was shut. It was also a perfect temperature for May. No need for heating or aircon, and so I don't think we checked either. Nice big towels. Basic toiletries. Just a squeezy shampoo and a bodywash, so take your conditioner and moisturiser, if you need it. Location near Carolus Thermen was fantastic. Breakfast was ok. Very simple. A fair combination of things, such as cheese, eggs, tomatoes, bread and jam, cereals etc. Not very exciting or extensive, but enough to fill you up. Small, quiet dining area.
