Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There are too few parking spaces, and then you have to pay for parking, which could well be made clearer. I missed a good cup of coffee made from fresh whole beans for breakfast and also sausages for scrambled eggs
The Hotel is good and clean. The breakfast was also good. Very nice rooms and bathrooms.

Room was very small compared to other hotels within the same price range in Northern Denmark. My room was facing a big intersection which made opening the windows at night almost impossible. Breakfast could be more vegetarian-friendly.

My toilet was not entirely properly cleaned. Some noise from the cars on the street (towards the Nordjyske Mediehus bygning) Paid parking (was not informed of this before my booking)

No dinner on offer in the evening, as it happens no problem - a good Vietnamese two minutes down the road
Initially given a room overlooking the main road corner on first floor, asked to be moved and asked for upgrade fee...when I retuned to pick up the key the receptionist said "there's no extra charge". Nice touch that prompts loyal, thank you. The rooms are clean, quiet, modern and very functional. Bathroom in very good condition with a good shower. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast food quality great

The breakfast is not the best you will find. Quite Danish but with only some eggs/bacon, salami and smørrebrød. Nothing fancy but enough.
Beautiful room, quite spacious and with a big bathroom for 2 people. Location is walking distance from the centre and at 2 minutes from the fjord.

Room felt a bit dated. There was a leak from the tap so had to use a cup under the sink to catch all the water. There was a Bible on the bedside table which was not an issue for me but may make other guests feel awkward or excluded. There was no safe in the room to leave valuables.
Room was spacious and the staff were very helpful. Location was good, by the harbour and about 10 minutes walk from the centre of the city.

Noisy roads on one side of the hotel.
Quality and variety of the breakfast offer. Clean and functional rooms (e.g. iron and tea). Access to a gym. Walking distance to restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets.

Parking is not included, it costs 75kr outside, and it could be difficult to find one. Bathroom was small but clean. it s not possibile to have dinner at the hotel, but the staff was helpful in suggesting some places.

Nothing at all.
Very convenient on our way to Norway. The central location of the hotel was perfect. We very much enjoyed the family room; our kids loved the bunk bed. Good and varied breakfast. Good parking place and perfect that we could charge our electric car.

The chargers for electric cars had stickers on them which were not connected to the charger. So for us without a local charging card we couldn’t get it to work, staff tried to help us but sadly couldn’t either.

Clean, comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast. Well located for walking to places of interest. Quiet, despite being on main roads. Friendly, helpful staff. Received a free room upgrade and early check in, which was appreciated. Love that it is a not-for-profit, yet with excellent presentation and service.

Felt the room was a a bit tight for in-room stay. As a bedroom it was quite comfortable but not a room that we felt was pleasant to sit and have a drink within or read a book.
Good location, lovely lounge space. Very nice continental breakfast spread.
