It's not a fault of the property, but unfortunately I had to leave early to get to the airport and wasn't able to enjoy the breakfast offering.

This was a fine stay in a well located and beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of Copenhagen.

What is not to like!?

How about sleeping in a museum? A bit like "Night at the museum" without the scarry bit. Best part is, you get a guide, Esben, always eager to talk to you about his art pieces. You will see original micro mosaic from Vatican workshop, medieval Japanese spears (named Yari), work by Jacques Callot... If you need more convincing, the neighbourhood is very calm, you have your own balcony, and you can see the canal! You even have breakfast in the morning with excellent tea. I would definitely recommend staying at Esben's.

Everything except of the price is great. For us the price is too much for this type of accommodation (shared apartment), but I guess this is just Kopenhagen :)

Great communication with the owner, easy to find, very good location, you can do everything on foot from the flat, clean and comfortable. We were able to bring our bags earlier and leave them longer on the day that we left.

The bedding and the size of the bed was not my favorite but for one night, it's adequate. The bedroom can't be fully darkened, so who likes the complete darkness in the morning, be prepared with an eye mask.

The breakfast was decent and very good quality. The owner served it in a wonderful setup, the glassware was extraordinary.

Nothing really, but I am not sure I would recommend the place for people travelling with a child. Nice for a couple, at most.

Thank you Esben for being such a kind, polite and welcoming host. The breakfast in the room is an especially nice touch. Plus the apartment is situated in a very central, yet very quiet location.

It may be a bit unclear from the description but you’re staying with the host. You have a private room but share the bathroom. We had no problems with it because the host is very respectful.

Everything was great. Location is excellent, super quiet, right next to a canal. Breakfast is made by your host which is a nice touch. Would totally recommend for a stay in Copenhagen.

We had a really great time at Esben Juhl's place! He is very nice and helpful, the guesthouse is very clean and Esben provides a good breakfast & coffee in the morning. The area itself is very well located with most of the hotspots being within walking distance. It's also quiet at night. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

Our stay was too short.

The owner is super friendly and it was a pleasure to have conversations with him. He accomodated the fact that we were travelling with our daughter. The location is in a quiet and nice part of the city, close to the center, and the price is really democratic for a city like Copenhagen.

amazing location. great host. nothing was too much trouble. allowed to drop bags earlier than check in time and he looked after our bags on the last day. breakfast was Danish and filling. it was so nice to experience Danish hospitality. Esben is an amazing host. would definitely recommend this gem of a place. thank you.

I thought Copenhagen was wonderful and have no complaints.

Very welcoming host, room had everything I needed. Great position, and near to Christhavn Metro and buses. Breakfast is given at your convenience.
