Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

SpainIt´s normal, as you are in the city center, but the rooms are slightly at the small side.
This hotel is located in the center of the city, ideal to explore the city either walking, or with a rental bike (We used the bikes in front of the hotel, but they have rental bikes at the hotel too if you want to rent one for a whole day). The staff was very polite and welcoming, both at the reception as in the breakfast area. The breakfast was top quality with a lot of home made specialities.

We loved the clean lines/layout and stylish but minimal decor. We enjoyed the lounge area, even down to eating our picnic-style dinners bought at the grocery store but eaten there in the lounge and playing cards for as long as we liked.

The location was perfect. Close walk to everything. It was calm and quiet. The breakfast was awesome and the staff were very kind and helpful. We loved the whole ambiance.

UruguayThere’s no air-conditioner in the room (only a small fan) and it was really hot during my stay, so sometimes it was difficult to be in the room or to sleep. I also think the curtains should be improved, as too much sun was getting into the room in the morning (sunrise is early)
The location is great, walk-distance to all the interesting places, near to bus/metro stops. The hotel is really pretty inside, amazing breakfast! Staff very friendly, in the reception and in the breakfast service as well.
