Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GeorgiaThe beach Area, the division made between Bel Air Arabia and Bel Air Azure is not Fair at all as Bel Air Arabia guests can use the places assigned for the Bel Air Guests however if Bel Air Guests tried to use Arabia sunbeds the staff preventing them. If the administration wants to make equality which should be there rule should be a rule for both which means if this area is assigned to Bel Air, Arabia guests can't use and vice versa, but what we have see there this is not fair at all and even the Staff agree with the logic but they said this is Administration recommendation.

EgyptNo dedicated parking space but you can park in front of the hotel. Rooms are a bit old but that's fine for a 3 star hotel since everything worked.
The staff were friendly, We went during a holiday season so the animation went ALL OUT. Food options were good and the buffet was great. The beach and pool had very few people most of the time so we could enjoy ourselves. Very positive experience overall.

United StatesThis might be a general thing in Egypt, but you cannot relax for two minutes without someone approaching you to buy something (excursions, spas, portraits etc etc) and it does really wear you down when you are just trying to relax. Even when we put up a red flag to keep them at bay, they still approached us and they didn't take no for an answer, so be prepared for that. Also the Bel Air Azur portion of the beach is not the part with soft sand, it's along the rocky pier and they do enforce separating guests from Arabia Azur (who had the nicer parts in my opinion) and Bel Air Azur, which was also kind of annoying since we all share the same beach access. For younger women-only groups like ours, you may feel a little uncomfortable around the property at times, especially in beach clothing, as the men do catcall a bit.
Outdoor dinners were great, the adult's only section of the beach was nice, and loved the Shisha lounge area! Security was also very polite and vigilant and kept us from getting in the wrong taxi! Front desk staff were very kind and accommodating, even giving us a shower room past our check out so we could wash up before a late flight! We also loved our room, with a spacious balcony overlooking the resort. Generally quiet as well.

ChinaThe decoration of the room could be improved, as it is a little old. Also, the bars can try to offer a wider variety of drinks. Additionally, the wifi in the room is not included in the fee.
The beach and the convenient transportation. Also, the food is good here.

Netherlands-Alcoholic beverages were quite awful, very bad quality. But at least you could buy a Heineken for 1,50 euros. -Rooms were a bit outdated -Internet was worthless. There was internet at reception and at the pool, but quite weak. Rooms didn’t have internet. You can get some kind of modem to get internet in your room. They were nice enough to get one for free for us since we only stayed 2 days, but normally it costs 14€ for 12GB. Just be aware though that they don’t really check how much data is left. We got a modem that barely had 1GB on it. Then we got a 2nd one, which also quitted after using some 1GB. Since my wife had an important job interview that was not very nice.
The food was good. For dinner they variated every night with a different theme (Asian, Oriental, etc). Breakfast and lunch were also plentiful and delicious. Nice thing was that you could also have lunch at their restaurant at the beach. Swimming Pool was quite nice and big. The rooms were comfortable with everything you might need. Hotel had a good location. Close to the beach, close to the airport, close to the centre. Staff was nice and helpful. We arrived at 4AM, and that was no problem. They have lots of place with sunbeds on the beach. Hotel is not superbig compared to other resorts. We got the feeling we landed in Germany. Hotel was for 90% filled with elderly Germans. Which made it very quiet and relaxing.
