How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

My only criticism is that the apartment was very hot and opening the window at night meant being woken by late night drinkers.
Very modern apartments in a great location - in the centre of town and only five minutes walk to the beach. Facilities, such as dishwasher, microwave and washing machine were excellent too.

No airconditioning. On hot days, the rooms on the upper floors become hot as well. You would want to open the windows to cool down during the night, but since there is a lot of noise on the street below late in the night/early in the morning that is impossible if you want to sleep.
Perfect location in the historic centre of Llanes, close to the beach, port, and all restaurants, bars, ... You cannot park in front of the building, but free parking is an easy 5 minute walk. The apartment is spacious, clean, has good beds, a decent bathroom. Everything you need is there. Although the centre is full of life long after midnight, the room is quiet with the windows closed.

Great location in the old town with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance plus the beach is only 5 minutes walk away. Lovely clean apartment and the host was very welcoming and available throughout our stay. We would stay here again if we visit Llanes again, which hopefully we will

Plastic undersheet on the bed.
Well appointed modern fittings and well kept communal areas. Very friendly kind and efficient stall. Right in the heart of the town.

We loved this place. the apartment was just great and Antonio met us to be sure we got settled and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. we would stay here again in a heart beat. Location was great, the town was gorgeous and sweet.

Super central very modern studio in Llanes. Well equipped and super quiet. There is free public parking at 3 minutes from the studio and lots of restaurants just around it.

The weather!
Good central location; generous sized rooms & all the facilities we needed. Daily cleaning of rooms included. Parking a short distance away @ 3 euros per day. Visited a fabulous museum @ Pourni, a short distance away.

There is no oven, only a microwave and this could have been useful but a minor point.
Well appointed and maintained flat in the centre of Llanes. Pleasant and extremely helpful host.

Everything was perfect! Just to point something: some nights it would get a bit noisy outside due to the proximity with restaurants. I don't see this as a downside if this means to stay near an area full of life and events (which was the case) - this also made me feel comfortable to get out alone at night if I felt like to.
The One-bedroom Apartment w/ Terrace is super cozy and had everything we needed for our day-to-day life: - Good enough wi-fi for remote work even in the terrace (Skype and Zoom meetings included). - The Terrace has a power plug. - To cook meals: Cooktop with 2 burners, utensils, microwave, fridge, dish washer, coffee machine, moka pot (my personal favorite!). - Dish soap and tableware tablets were also provided. - Cloth washing machine, clothespins, drying rack (other things available, per request)... - Personal complimentary items such as: hair dryer, soap, shampoo, body lotion - This place has a lift! Perfect location! Walking distance to - Several beautiful beaches, viewpoints and attractions. - Several restaurants and bakeries. - Several supermarkets and grocery stores Bonus: You can find lots of Gluten Free stuff around Llanes. I've found Schär products even in the smallest groceries stores, but "Rico Rico" is a must (and it's just around the corner)! Though you have plenty to see nearby, this apartment was also my starting point to visit lots of other places between: - Cudillero; - Picos de Europa; - Santander. Last but not least: ALL STAFF was truly amazing - not just Antonio but also all the cleaning personnel. Thank you very much to all of them!

Super central, yet quiet. Good quality furnishing, machineries and bathroom. The owner/manager was very kind and helpful. Loved It, we'll definitely stay there again!

The room is a bit dark, as it the windows give on a narrow pedestrian street, but this is the price to pay for being in the centre of town.
The apartments are located in the middle of the town, and although the Calle Mayor is quite busy, the studio is perfectly insulated from the street noise. The room is not big, but very functional and plenty sufficient for 2 people, and it offers a small kitchen for rapid cooking. The host was very friendly and helpful. If one wishes so there is a cleaning and replacement of the towels. The apartment was clean and the infrastructure was in great shape. We can highly recommend it.
