The hotel is in a wonderful location and many rooms have superb sea views as does the dining room which has a dramatic outlook. It is the only “High Rise” building in Lanzarote but it has been very well renovated and far exceeded our expectations.

Very few beds at the pool. Breakfast was badly laid out. The view on the third floor is of the pool roof, ask for a very high floor or they will give you a room with a bad view. I booked two rooms on booking.com payment wasn’t taken until I arrived, a very long,twenty minute checkin with the receptionist despite her already having all my details, having to pay on arrival I thought money would come of my card in advance as usual. Reception say they cannot book you a taxi, we were going to another town on the island as a family of five and were told to go to the taxi rank and wait for a people carrier which are very hard to get. The beach was blocked off for maintenance and apart from this hotel there is nothing in Arrecife. Staff at reception aren’t very approachable and quite intimidating. The rest of the staff were lovely.

The breakfast was lovely although plates were cold but the time you sit down it’s cold. Beautiful views from the breakfast room. Pool is not heated but a very nice area. Really comfortable beds great bathroom in the suite and remote control curtains were fab. Double room is pretty average. Great chef making omelettes. Lovely staff at pool bar.

Shame the main restaurant on the 17th floor has closed we did visit the restaurant downstairs which was very good but didn’t Have the same atmosphere.

Quite a walk to the art gallery castillo and it just happened to be windy and damp

Lovely pool area, with great vies over the beach. Blue 17 is a great place to relax with a drink and a meal. Easy to find close to the the Island buses

We seemed to spend a lot of time waiting for the lifts. But with 17 floors and a full hotel it was to be expected.

Breakfast was superb and completely destroyed my diet…. The views and easy stroll to the harbour past the castle.

Not much! Would have preferred a walk in shower rather than over the bath but that's just personal preference. Only niggle was the lifts - one was out of action but the remaining 3 took ages to come and I don't think the hotel was anywhere near full. One staff member told us he had been in the lift for half an hour trying to get to the floor he wanted! Presumably he was allowing guests to get to their floor first.

Comfortable room and bed, good bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast and very convenient location for us, right in the centre of Arrecife, yet very quiet. Staff all helpful and friendly

The Christmas dinner was a bit late for us, at 9pm. It was good & tasty but maybe it could be a bit better organized.

A striking and chic retreat set in an enviable position overlooking the beach, sea and the city. Highlights include magnificent views of the bay from the shower. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Parking is available in the garage.

We only have 1 negative and that is that the booking in at the hotel was not very good. Staff were not that good this time in the fact that there was no welcome drink (we witnessed other guests getting them and we have had them in the past) also there was no information given. Our room was not ready, which was fine and expected but staff took our number and said they would let us know - that didn't happen unfortunately. A bad day on reception perhaps ?

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel in general was very good and clean etc.
