How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was nothing major but I had to ask for a bottle of water as none in room. It’s great to have tea/coffee making facilities but can we also have small pots of milk or cream? Also I would have liked a cereal option for breakfast as I am vegetarian. There were cereal holders in the dining area but no cereal. I had the eggs and they were very nice.
I was impressed at how modern and clean the whole facility is.

traffic noise and as room was above terrace bar, people talking till late large flight of stairs to apartment and we are elderly so was quite hard

We experienced nothing to complain about.
The breakfast offer is everything that is in a 5-star hotel. Plenty of sweet and savory options, hams, cheeses, hot egg dishes, coffee, tea, decaffeinated, fresh orange juice. What else do you need?

Only thing was the temperature of the shower, it was perfect when I went in, but then after few minutes it got extremely hot, that I had to be careful not to burn myself. Other people in my group also talked about this in their rooms.
This hotel was perfectly situated for my needs. Breakfast was simple, yet just what you need to get going in the morning. Service and cleanliness was very good at the hotel. Will for sure use this hotel again, and recommend to friends.

I can't think of anything on this stay.
Lots of choices for breakfast, even for me as a vegan. the room was clean and well furnished and included a kettle and cups. The bed was very comfortable. There was a lovely sea view from the balcony.

That evening meals are not available on a weekend. Especially March and November.
Nice clean family hotel. Good breakfast provided. Very nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. Nice area that's not too far to walk from to the playa in Albir.

I just wished they served evening meals at the weekend during march and November but it's not a big problem
It's a family run hotel It's small but that's one of the best things about it. A nice place to relax Easy to walk down to the playa in Albir

Disappointed that the hotel restaurant was closed on Saturday evening for dinner. We would have preferred to eat at the hotel after our journey.
Small friendly hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent shower. Nice balcony. Great location for access to amenities, bars and walking distance to the beach. Only 10 minutes drive to Benidorm.

Bedside light wire hanging out and did not work, needs fixing - Shower needs replacing with a normal shower unit. Dripped all night and soaked floor. Shame the restaurant is closed on a Saturday nights as it seems very popular for lunch with locals and guests. I expect it is due to the season but closed on a Saturday? I am sure they know why they do that due to foot fall.

Main road loaction. Motor bikes were very noisy.
Breakfast good, but did not cater for gluten free. Room clean and comfortable.

Large room with powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Kettle and fridge was a bonus! Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Evening meal very good and a reasonable price. Free parking and good location.

The room was ice-cold when I stepped in, so I had to fix the temperature and the floor still remained cold. I did not see any vegetables at the breakfast (there were fruit however). There was a pool in the hotel but swimming was not allowed!
I would recommend this hotel if you want to spend time in a place like Alicante but want to avoid crowds. The hotel is also ideal for longer stays. The price of the room includes a good breakfast. My room featured a balcony with a town view, and I enjoyed watching New Year fireworks from there. The staff of the hotel was helpful.

The shower was very impressive, but if you're not careful when adjusting the temperature, you can have a very sharp surprise with VERY hot water. This does need addressing with some methods to prevent a nasty incident.
It really is difficult to fault any part of our stay at Hotel Noguera El Albir, so I won't. Every element of our stay was excellent. From the staff to facilities, cleanliness & value for money. I will not give 10/10 because you always have to provide incentive to maintain these high standards.
