Overall condition was not the best considering the price of our stay. Didn’t like the fact we had to keep dropping/collect our keys at reception everytime we left/return to the hostel

This location is very dynamic. Multiple bars and restaurants. Consequentially, there is a lot of noise. Our room had very bad sound insulation and a restaurant downstairs was heard all the night through. Also, AC was quite noisy. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for quiet place to sleep.

Good price and perfect location close to Rambla, just few minutes away from market. Staff were very friendly. Rooms are small, but actually have all, what needed. Would recommend this place for a couple of nights for those, who want to be in the center of night life.

Needed more subtle lighting in the room - all electric lights were very bright/cool coloured. Also, there was a high window to the next room - we couldn’t see each other, but it flooded our room with light at night and couldn’t be covered by curtains.

Brilliant location. Very friendly staff. Clean, bright, comfortable room. We had the suite, which had a lovely courtyard/balcony with a view across the square.

The room had little storage space (for example wardrobe with only 1 shelf) so unpacking may be a bit of a challenge and the furniture is showing it's age, but rooms are very clean. The air-conditioning is not individual but a central system, so it was not possible to switch from heating to cooling. Luckily it was not too hot yet, so having just the fan on was enough.

Hostal Ramos has an amazing location, friendly staff and the rooms are clean. It is a great starting point for exploring Barcelona city centre. Leaving the key at the reception also takes some worries of your mind, so you can walk around without fearing of losing them.

You couldn’t take the keys with you outside, leaving the room, even if you were coming back, you had to leave it at the reception, which is weird and quite uncomfortable and makes me not to want to come back.

The TV only played radio channels which was frustrating, being able to cast your phone with a smart tv would have been a nice option but the tv was not a smart tv and therefore not capable with such functions.

Everything was clean and tidy, and had pretty much everything you needed, it was nice for a small room to have a fridge

Very nice, clean place in great localisation. Nice building situated by small, but lovely square. Free drinking water, coffee machine, air conditioning. Towels changed every two days, reception 24/7.

Great location, 24 hour reception with key drop which was helpful. We were able to store our luggage which again was helpful. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There is a supermarket store practically right outside. Would stay again.

Only there one night to sleep. Chose hotel for location which was perfect. Receptionist extremely helpful, very grateful to him for helping with luggage up stairs.

The place is centrally located and super convenient for starting walks around the city. There's a metro nearby. Despite being in the center, I would say it's quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and smiling! There's a place to leave your luggage if you have a late flight after checking out.

Bed and pillows not the most comfortable for me, but my partner had no complaints. Very basic room and accommodations.

Room was small and not luxurious by any means - you get a small tv and a hair dryer - but met our needs and the location was excellent. The Las Ramblas shopping street and Liceu metro stop are just a couple minutes walk, as is the main city market. From Liceu metro station you can easily get anywhere in the city including to and from the airport via the L9 line with just one train change at Zona Universitaria. The hotel is staffed 24 hours, so is easy to check in and out of at any hour. Staff was friendly and helpful and they will hold your bags if you arrive before check in. Free WiFi is included but was rather slow and sometimes didn’t work well (may have been just a bad day). Overall, a good value for such a central location if you can make due with simple, basic accommodations.
