AC was either tricky to handle or not working. The shower was extremely small and uncomfortable.

Only downside was that the bed was comprised of two single beds pushed together, but not a major issue.

Excellent location close to the city centre, room was spacious with a small balcony, nice solarium on the roof with some chairs and tables to sit out in the evening.

Our room was very small and looked out onto a very close wall. As we were 1st floor the wall was very high so basically no view at all. It had been described as ‘courtyard’ view so I knew it would be interior but hadn’t anticipated quite how enclosed it would be.

There are steps up to the front entrance of the hotel, which made it difficult to carry the suitcase in. (In retrospect, I should have asked the staff for help. but no valet service was offered.). The hotel has no evening catering or bar and there is no kettle / tea-making facilities in the room (although there is a vending machine for cold drinks in the lobby). The bedroom windows had no fly-screen so could not be left open. At breakfast, the plates were paper, not porcelain.

The hotel is very central but quiet, within easy walking distance of the historic centre, beaches and rail station. It is well maintained with a fresh and pleasant decor and is manned 24/7 by helpful and professional staff. The beds were very comfortable. The room was cleaned and the towels refreshed every day. Our bedroom window overlooked an inner lightwell which was not scenic but avoided street noise, which was what we asked for. The room had a fridge. Our room was across from the lift, but we heard no noise from the lift or other guests. Breakfast was very pleasant with a good buffet selection of freshly prepared and quality produce.

View of a wall from our room, Internet very slow and the plug socket and light switches were in the middle of the headboard on the bed so we kept accidentally switching the lights on in the middle of the night and banging our heads on the phone charger. Pillows not very comfortable either.

Friendly staff, dated but clean and simple. Reasonably priced for what it was.

To be fair we booked a fairly cheap hotelroom. When getting in the room, it had a brick wall view, two separate beds and it smelled as if someone had been smoking in there. We went down to the reception and asked for a better one which we were giving straight away for 15Euro/day extra. We ended up in a room which was modernized and had a street view with a small balcony.

The location is central but not loud; The bed is very comfortable; the bathroom is well equipped and modern; the common area in the hall is well decorated and it’s nice to spend time there. The international breakfast buffet costs 10 euros.

Nothing, except maybe that the door to the balcony of the neighbours is quite noisy. When the neighbours close or open their balcony door, then it can give you quite a shock, as it sounds like someone opening the door to your balcony.

We stayed here on our way to Morocco the night before the ferry to Nador. The friendly staff could help us and tell us where to find what in the city. Very convenient location, about 15 mins from the train station and 10 from the port. Beautiful room, we wished that we stayed longer.

The staff where very attentive and helpful. Breakfast, although a cold buffet was plentiful in nice surroundings. The roof top terrace wasovely. We certainly recommend this hotel.

We didn't understand why we were put in the room next to the room where such extensive work was taking place.

The member of staff on duty was very helpful, offering us another room when the room we were in was unbelievable noisy due to work in the room next door (drilling and banging).
