Many reviews have mentioned that already that the facilities are not in a perfect state and are outdated, but we counted with that before we went there.

An excellent location a lot of restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk, and pretty much everything we needed was close to the property.

Cleaning wasn't great. There were stains in every towel, toothpaste, rust, and something I don't even wanna know. The window was blocked by scaffolding, with men walking right by it.

Location was perfect for me. It's a nice little square with a couple of places for food and drinks and good vibes. Room space was okay and things didn't look that old or anything.

The room is a bit worn down. And even if it is clean, doesn't look clean. No view due to outside renovations.

It's really close to the Metro, and it's almost in the city center. The bed was really nice. When you get your keys it's easy to get in and out. The air conditioning was really nice to have.

I believe that as a foreigner not knowing the zone the receptionist needs to have much better PR. She was snobbish and not welcoming. They had a poor Canadian guy waiting for almost two hours at the receptionist, the reason being is because he could not provide the name of some friend he was with the night that booked his flight. Again instead of her helping out she insisted that she needed the name of the person. The poor guy was hopeless, so because he could not speak Spanish fluently he tried to explain to the Cuban lady that he was his reservation and showed it to her. I felt sorry for the guy and had to help him translate so that she could have understood what he was trying to say. She then took the confirmation number down and said it will take a while because she has to go through the email to reconfirm the booking. That is not ethical and she needs to do better than that. Another thing that was ridiculous was the bounding of a cement hammer on the wall. They were making so much noise. It seems they were fixing the back end of the building and it was so noisy I could sleep. They gave you no warning nor did they apologize when I brought it to their attention. The lady simply said in Spanish that the guys need to do their job with no sympathy for the ones that sleep late like me since I have been out late at night partying. It was really horrible.

Cannot close the shutter. Bad bed Defective electrical equipment in the bathroom. Bad Isolation, noisy. Overpriced for poor quality.

We did not like the scaffolding outside our 2 room balconies which did not allow us to view anything outside and also the trees were blocking the view and they needed to be cut off.

There was no Breakfast as it was a hostel ,but Very centrally located.

Good value for money. I had booked a single room with bathroom in the center of Madrid and I think it is difficult to find a better deal in that area for that type of accommodation.

The room and the bathroom were not clean enough and were very small. Although the person in charge took care of everything I asked for (for example the shower sink wasn't working very well the first day, and she took care of that, and also when I asked to change a sheet that was not well washed, or the blanket as well). However, the room didn't have a view, as was shown on the pictures, and the mattress smelled very bad. Also, I was charged for leaving my luggage during the day I had to leave.

The neighborhood was awesome, and everything was very close to the hotel. Also, to have the subway station just near to the hotel was great.

There was virtually no natural light in the room I stayed in (room 11) but I was there in November/December. The stay was decent, nothing more nothing less. The biggest disappointment is that they (for some reason) they really do not want to give you a invoice!! This is a really big bummer because I stayed there for work and they just do not want to proove that you really stayed there... So I cannot reclaim my costs because this property cannot provide an invoice.

Facilities were very old, not like the pictures. Bedroom curtain rod was broken and repaired with masking tape. Bathtub was very old and faded. The room was not at all like the pictures. Booking sent us a PIN code that was not the one used by the hotel. Had we been delayed, we would not have been able to enter.

Door entry code from street needed getting used to. Couldn't open the door to the mini balcony to look out. Bathroom a bit tired.

Great location on square not far from centre and lively areas with restaurants, opposite metro so good links Clean and bright accommodation with comfortable beds and enough space. Always quiet.Good place for a short stay.
