Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe location of on the far end of playa blanca so.we had to get taxis everywhere. But the taxi was so cheap. And the reception staff were happy to book taxis for us.
Peaceful and serene surroundings. Absolutely amazing staff attention to detail and the amazing villa which we stayed in was so comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and peaceful.

United KingdomLoved everything apart from its a little out from Central Playa blanca and waited ages for taxis.
So comfortable and spacious. Booked w villas as large group of us. Bedrooms comfortable, outdoor private pool, bbq area, clean bathrooms wow. Did not want to leave. Even when checked out we was given a room for changing, showers, with tea and coffee facilities.

Excellent service! Our family of 5 enjoyed the accommodation, the food, the children area and our bike rides. The restaurant is a must try and drinks at the bar during sunset were magical.

United KingdomThe only criticism would be that we felt it would have been beneficial to have a small coffee shop or snack bar on site - the coffee machines in the villa were great but sometimes its nice to sit outside and people watch . The nearest snack bar was a 15 minute walk away
excellent location just a bit away from the real hustle of Playa Blanca with just about enough available for a reading stay .The service from the home team was excellent in particular from Gillian in guest relations who did everything we asked and much more . Very nice to have our own pool and although our villa was not the best one on the site it was excellent

United KingdomCan't fault Kamezi villas. Surrounding area has some nice restaurants but there wasn't much life. Seems like mainly a residential area.
Fabulous villa. Sea Lounge Villa lived up to expectations. Perfect facilities including the amazing shower, outdoor space designed perfectly to capture all day sunshine, topped off with evening on the top floor penthouse sundeck. We didn't do much other than relax in our villa.

United KingdomBBQ - we paid £124 Euro for the BBQ package and I really dont think it was worth the money particularly for 8 people, there was limited food and we had to go out and purchase extra sides. It would be good to come as a hamper, that included a little more meat products for the group size we had and sides (salad etc.) Cooker - really hard to access the hob, the fan is so low that you struggle to cook over the electric stove without having to bend down or hit your head. I am 5ft 7inc and really struggled. Water - limited hot water to shower / wash the dishes between 8 people often having to wait an hour before the next person could shower. Maintenance - came to look at the issues with the cold water but wasnt able to communicate with us what the problem was due to language barrier. we were non the wiser even after calling for the help.
staff were warm and welcoming and very engaging even prior to our trip via email and whatsapp communications. They organised our day trip with ease and even happy to arrange taxi's for us from the town back to the villa when we were stuck trying to find one to jump into at the taxi rank in playa blanca centro. The villa was spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities. Not too far from the airport and only a short taxi ride into the town that offered lots of shops and restaurants with beautiful beaches and mountain views. The pool was heated although we did need to ask reception to warm it up on a number of occasions as the weather wasnt warm enough to make use of the pool without heating. The welcome gifts were an added surprise - bottle of wine, birthday cake and snacks for the children - very thoughtful.

United KingdomVilla cleanliness very good, but, when the girls mopped the floor, throughout, it was left wet and slippery. We just stayed out of the way, on the terrace, until it dried.
Peace and quiet - friendly - clean - pretty - landscaping around the villas. Breakfast delivery every morning. Such a lovely change from the norm. The AMAZING food at the restaurants. Onsite market shop was convenient and reasonably priced Staff were friendly and always helpful Villas kept clean, however,

ItalyIt would be nice to have more supplies for coffee in the morning, perhaps a milk frother to make a cappuccino, or a percolator.
We stayed in a lovely villa with a private pool. The villa was comfortable and spacious, with a gorgeous terrace with a sea views. The bed was comfortable (especially with the additions of our selection from the pillow menu!), nice bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. Parking right outside the front door. The pool area is lovely, and also has a barbecue area. The kamezì app is very useful. The Deli restaurant and the Ocean View tapas were absolutely divine—local products and innovative flavors. The staff was wonderful. We mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday and they surprised us with a cake! We loved our stay!

United KingdomThe complex is further away from Playa Blanca than I’d realised - pretty much 10km to go there and back. The nearby ‘beach’ is basically just some rocks by the sea so, while the seafront path is lovely for a walk, you can’t really go to anywhere without it being a long walk or a drive. While they’re very comfortable and pretty, the villas aren’t that practically designed. Our kitchen was very weird, with cupboards for pans, cutlery etc outside the kitchen and empty space under the kitchen counter, so we had to hang towels over the corners to stop our children bumping their heads. (The kitchen could have done with better/more equipment too, eg there was only one small chopping board and the electric hob took a long time to heat up). And for somewhere so new it was a bit frustrating that not all of the bedsides had sockets next to them for charging phones at night. None of these are major gripes but they’re things that could be better given the price.
The villas and complex are beautiful, very attractively designed, peaceful and just generally a lovely environment to be in. The staff - be that reception, maintenance or the fantastic cleaning staff - were really helpful and professional, and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. The heated pool was nice and the villas were as classy as you’d expect for the price range, with nice shower rooms, good towels and tasteful decor. They also added some nice little touches for our small children, such as a bed rail on the bed, bathtub for the shower and a couple of rubber ducks. Finally, the on-site deli, fine dining restaurant and spa/sauna were very nice for treats (and morning bread).

United KingdomNo air-conditioning in the villa. It didn't matter as the weather was around 24 degrees but could be an issue in high season. This shouldn't detract you from booking as the experience here is superb.
Best of both worlds, the villa gives you freedom but the facilities on site are better than you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Add the bonus of a Michelin star restaurant on site which was absolutely amazing! A huge bakery also on site with a bread making masterclass which was a real highlight for us. The croissants we made were delivered to the villa for breakfast the next day which was a lovely touch. I have to also mention the on site shop which sold first class ingredients, homemade pastries are out of this world and certainly not over priced.

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike at all. Unfortunately we did not manage to experience the restaurant or spa as these facilities happened to be closed for the week we stayed. They made us fully aware of this at the time of booking and in all correspondence but I feel like we missed a treat as they both looked amazing. To the credit of the management, we were offered a discount and a promise to remeber us should we decide to return, which I really think we will.
The style and decor of the villas are all excellent. Own pool and extra sun terrace to eat breakfast was amazing. High quality kitchen utensils and glasses. Everything you needed, home from home. Excellent bathrooms and showers and very comfy beds. Quiet location, only noise could be from villas close by, perhaps with children but didn't spoil the atmosphere. A very relaxing few days spent at Kamezi, could easily have stayed longer.

Having a private swimming pool, garden and terrace means you can disconnect as soon as you arrive and make the most of every moment. The hotel’s highly professional and friendly staff, as well as its impeccable cleanliness, has to be mentioned.

United KingdomIt pains me to complain much about Kamezi villas as we had an amazing week here, however a few points of note. It really needs air con or ceiling fans installed. I’d read reviews before booking and was hesitant about this one potential flaw. The hotel insisted the design of the villas means that you dont need aircon. This is untrue. Perhaps we were unlucky and the wind was blowing in the wrong direction but we had 7 uncomfortable nights with poor sleep and inside the villa stayed between 27-29degrees (we had a temp gauge in our toddlers room). Yes they supplied plug in fans but these did little to take the edge off. We would have loved to have made more use of the restaurant and pod area for coffee and pastries in the morning or the odd cocktail. Seems odd it was so inaccessible during non food serving hours. Would be an ideal spot to chill in the morning and enjoy and coffee and on-site pastry. There was even a seated area outside the on-site bakery. I thought this could potentially be utilised to serve coffee and pastries but no, it was just 4 random tables and chairs with no apparent use. Would I go back. Most certainly I would, however I’d need to choose a cooler time of the year to go out, probably Nov-Apr given how disturbed my sleep was.
A blend of your own villa with personal touches like a hotel was ideal for us. Staff are very attentive with a instant messaging app making requests very convenient. The restaurant and tapas food offered is soo good and the baked goods and shop also amazing. The pool is great, although we had requested a pool guard well in advance of our visit and this was forgotten and day one they quickly organised it to be installed, so vacated the villa for most of the day as it ended up taking the majority of day one to install. Also turning on the pool fountain seemed an unnecessary long winded event, so we only bothered once. Although it was nice when on.

United StatesThere was no AC or fans in the villa. It was very warm/humid the last few nights of our stay. We had to sleep with the doors open...but this allowed for mosquitos to get in and we all had mosquito bites because of this.
The host, Carlota, met us at the reception desk and walked us over to our villa to show us around. The fresh bread baked daily smelled very good every morning when we woke up. The pool was private.
