Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWe couldn’t adjust the air con and no one could help. Room was a touch warm for our liking. But this is being very picky.
Double glazed windows made the room super quiet. Handy to the railway for getting around the valley. Magnificent views. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.

BrazilThe jacuzzi could be bigger given the hotel's available rooms. The main pool temperature wasn't ideal, we had to switch between the jacuzzi a few times (when available) otherwise my kid would get too cold. Ski rental in the hotel was not open during our stay.
The staff was amazing, they were always trying to go a bit of an extra mile to satisfy the eventual needs we had, super friendly and helpful. Dinner was also super good with friendly prices and huge portions. The pool hours are also super nice covering a good part of the day. The kid's room and arcade games at the reception were also very convenient.

BulgariaAs a place advertised as benefiting from an indoor swimming pool, we were very surprised that there wasn't a spa zone. We expected at least a sauna. If there was one, no sign was to be seen. Also, the toilet of the swimming pool is to be avoided. There wasn't any fridge in our room. That was also something we didn't expect from a four-star hotel, and from my experience, these are basic amenities. No mirror in the room (only in the corridor), and the toilet was ceparated from the bathroom.
The area was quiet, though close to the motorway. Lovely lobby with lots of things to do. My daughter enjoyed the arcade games a lot. The staff was very helpful. We loved the breakfast. It was plentiful and delicious. Lots of tracks in the area and a bus stop nearby.

LuxembourgSeriously, there was nothing not to like. If i have to say something negative it would be the fact that there could be 1 or 2 more strorage places in the room to put our hiking clothes...
This hotel was simply AWESOME! From the lobby til the swimming pool, the child activitiy offer, the food in the diner restaurant, the breakfast, the parking and the room...we travel a lot, but this hotel is standing out!

United KingdomThe hotel is quite far from a lot of things so do bare that in mind if you have activities booked but they do have buses that come quite often.
We stayed here as we came to Chamonix for our first ski trip. The staff were really nice, especially would like to mention Mohammed. He was so helpful and attentive any time we needed anything.

The hotel lobby/games room/bar/restaurant had a very homely, cozy vibe. Very well designed to spend some quality time with food and drinks and with an amazing view of the Alps. The room was spacious and comfortable with practical bathroom.

SwitzerlandHaving a few DBs or kettlebells in the gym would have been amazing. And please, get rid of the mossed floating mattresses in the pool. They don't seem all that hygienic and not many people use them anyways.
Room was spacious and clean. The place is great to go with kids and/or pets (15€/night fee applies for pets, kids are free). The location is great if traveling by car. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and diverse although a touch expensive. Having access to an indoor swimming pool until 22:00 was fantastic after a long day outdoors. The main lobby features a big common area with free arcade machines, a pool table, a small gym (w/ basically a couple of cycling machines and a rower) , and a kids playroom. Service was very polite, friendly, and accommodating.

SwitzerlandThe room was pleasant but not special. The toilet didn't have a very pleasant smell.
We really liked the common areas of the hotel. The main lobby where reception is, is a huge room, with beautifully decorated wooden beams and stylish wallpaper. One part of the lobby area has a nice space for games (pool table, fussball, video games and other entertainment). There is also a stylish lounge area, where one can relax with a drink or read a book, watch tv or work. There was also a live concert on one of the nights, which was a nice and enjoyable touch. Our daughter also enjoyed the playroom for kids, which had several little games. We also really enjoyed the pool area, which is quite big and pleasant. There is a big pool, which get quite deep in parts, and a smaller Jacuzzi with warmer water. The breakfast options were really good and the staff were nice and helpful. The room was nothing special, but there were a few books to read, which we thought was a nice touch.

This place is amazing! I can’t fault it. All the staff are so very friend and happy to help answer questions. Very knowledgeable about ski hire and slopes. We had a room next to the road, the view was beautiful overlooking the mountains. I’ve never stayed in a room that quiet, you can’t hear the road at all! The rooms are so so quiet. There’s a separate toilet to the bathroom, there’s an inside door, meaning your room is soundproofed from the hallway. The bed is extremely comfortable as are the pillows. The decor is fun and bright. We loved that we didn’t need to use our adapter, we could charge phones and watches at the same time though the multiple usb slots. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. The shower is really nice and there’s a Bath. The room itself is very big. Blackout curtains meaning we had lots of sleep. Downstairs there’s lots of comfy sofas and chairs, two retro arcade machines (free) and a pool/snooker table, I’ll never know the difference! We wanted to save some money and not eat the hotel breakfast each day. We ‘just had a look’ the first day and ended up having a hotel breakfast each morning. The range of food is exceptional, there’s just so much to choose from. Everything is so well thought out. I even noticed that there’s a ramp up to the hotel at the front, one side has a soft covering so you can wheel your suitcase, the other half is grippy metal for the snow and ice. We only had chance to use the pool and hot tub twice. The pool was a little cool to get into but pools aren’t supposed to be hot or it’s uncomfortable to swim around. Tip, there’s a really great short cut when walking to the train station. It’s near the main road and takes about 6 minutes to walk. Don’t follow Google maps like we did! The buses come straight to the hotel or just up the road, they go to chamonix and lots of ski areas. The trains are free and are very convenient. Read less

IndiaIt’s in between Les Houches and Chamonix, and you’ll be dependent on buses if you don’t have a car. We ended up renting as it was a lot more convenient. There are ski buses coming to the hotel entrance, but they go only to Chamonix and not les Houches. There is no room service, but was not a big deal. Food menu did not have many vegetarian options.
The hotel is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Excellent staff.

TurkeyIt may have the smallest elevator I've ever seen in my life. It barely fits one person and one suitcase. The menu for dinner is very limited, with few options. More options would suit that ambiance.
Breakfas was great, both in variety and taste. It has been carefully thought out to meet the different demands of the guests. The staff at the restaurant in the evening was very helpful and friendly. Greetings from here to the beautiful Uruguayan person who prepared my salty lemon beer!

FranceWe spent 1 week at Big Sky and it was wonderful! Everything was perfect, the room was really nice, modern and clean (they’ve cleaned the room everyday). The breakfast had plenty of options with quality food. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. They had live music which was really nice. The hotel is renovated with a very modern touch, the personell is polite and helpfull. We also enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have this opportunity after a full day of skiing. Also, the location for us was perfect, we had our car so it was easy to go anywhere, and fast. The ski bus leaves several times a day, right in front of the hotel, so if you don’t want to take your car, you have this option. I really recommend this hotel, it’s great value for money!
