How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast in the hotel could have been a little better for the price
Location was nice once we found the "second" metro station which was closer than the local Montparnasse station.

My room was very small. I changed it as air-conditioning was not working and in my original room, I couldn't open the window. In my first room, there was an espresso machine, in the second one not. At the same time I got every day two bottles of water which was not the case in the first room. It was confusing. Also, no body lotion in the second room.
Breakfast was fine, better than generally in Paris. There was enough space in a restaurant. The bed was comfortable.

There went something wrong about my order because I ordered breakfast for all of us but the lady at the restaurant told I just ordered 2 breakfast and she was very eager to get me paid 20 euros. It was an uncomfortable moment.
Kind staff members, they were very helpfull! Very good breakfast.

Lack of circulation, at one point the room got a bit smelly
Our room was ready even though we arrived earlier than the check-in time. The room was clean enough and the breakfast was very good. The location was central, close to restaurants area, bus/train stations. The view of the eiffel tower was the highlight of the stay! Stayed in a privilege room and was surprised to learn that the stocked minibar was for our enjoyment gratis!

Friendly staff and clean fairly spacious rooms. The bathroom definitely enhanced the appeal of this accommodation for us. Several public transport stops nearby, direct bus service to Place de la Bastille.

The air-conditioning could be a bit colder it whus a little bit hot in the room. Besides that nothing else to complain about.
The location, friendly and helpful staff, parking garage around the corner. Breakfast was good. I came here last year also and definitely will be back for my next visit to Paris.

The room is small, but this is quite normal for Paris.
The hotel is near the train station which is very practical. There are also restaurants, supermarkets, fastfoods near by. The beds were comfortable. After long walks in Paris, having a bathtub was nice.

They asked for full payment of time of arrival and also blocked amount as a Garantie for payment!!!! They have not good and proper facilities and equipment like glass, dish and fork in room. This hotel has no any special facilities like gym, pool, etc.

the rooms were very clean but the fact that air conditioner did not work and the heat was on with out having a control on it maybe technical problem, we had a head ache at room i am sure if we asked for a an other room they were there to change our room.We were very happy of our holidays in Paris, Thank you.

No Windows to open in the room. Couldnt get fresh air. And air conditioner wasnt working only warm air. Rooms were not so modern. Need some refreshment. Price for the night was too high.
Location was good. Could easly walk to city center, also metro near by. Bed was comfortable, many pillows.
