Great experience at Argyll Hotel. Perfect location.

The original room allocated to us was tiny. There was a chair in front of the wardrobe so couldn't open the wardrobe without moving the chair, & there was nowhere to move the chair away from the wardrobe. The toilet was damaged, so we brought it to their attention & they then upgraded us to a bigger room.

They were very quick to upgrade us to a better room when we notified them of a problem with the original room allocated to us. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast, eat as much as you want!

Good location, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities which is good . Great shower . Room a little tired . Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Great value .

The window in room 306 didn’t close very well and it was a bit noisy on the street. However this didn’t make the stay worse!

Location was ideal, the bathroom was nice and shower was excellent.

One of my kids was hoping for crossiants for breakfast but that is really minor, the noise from Outside didn’t bother us but there was 2 separate fights arguements that I heard but no one else in the room did, could happen anywhere and wouldn’t put be off staying here again.

The size of the family room was brilliant! Really liked how everyone had their own full sized bed, the location was brilliant and not a hassle to get too.

Although a good cooked traditional b’fast . A little variety & more chose world have been nice . Missed fresh fruit & the choice of a continental type menu with different breads pastries croissant cheese salami etc .

We loved the good location close to museums & university & great restaurants cafes & pubs. A few mins walk to bus stop to city centre . Situated in a v nice green leafy & quiet area . Nice comfortable clean interior simple white bathrooms & decor with touches of tartan . Friendly helpful staff .

There was nothing in particular that I would comment on negatively

We stayed on a room only basis. The hotel was easy to find, just 10 minutes walk from Exhibition Centre station. The room and the hotel generally was warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable. It's location was excellent within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants in Finnieston, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and park and the University. We also walked into the city centre in under 30 minutes, although there are several buses too. Given it's location, the hotel was remarkably quiet with little or no street noise.

Had to wait for items to be made,only 1 cook working,too many people for breakfast for one person cooking,for that reason only had small breakfast with items that were available at the time,location was spot on.

Breakfast bacon and egg was not great, but I should have had the veggie option, since it's a plant based soul kitchen! Fresh fruit and granola was good.

Great location for the West end, SWG3 and Kelvin grove. On bus route 77 to Buchanan Street. Cosy, clean and comfy. Bargain stay.

Mostly good. Only slight downside it seemed like an attic room so the sloping roof posed a slight problem as I am 6’3 ‘ tall

We were greeted by a member of staff who was on his phone and seemed to be finishing a text before even lifting his head to say hello. Found this a bit rude.
