Not a real criticism but the uneven floor in the old building might be an issue if you're not too steady on your feet.

Nice corner room with windows on two sides, clean and comfortable, good shower, tea/coffee in room. Instant response from heating on a cold day. Great breakfast made to order. Very friendly staff.

Struggling to think of anything. Maybe the shower could have had a little more pressure but it did the job fine.

My room was in the annexe across the bridge/road from the main hotel (these are where the cheaper rooms are). My room was at the front and on the ground floor. The road outside is VERY busy, and you can't really open the windows as I didn't really like the idea of people being able to reach inside or anything like that. I didn't sleep well with the traffic to be honest, so I would advise ear plugs if you're going to stay in this part of the hotel. The sound proofing between rooms isn't great, I could hear someone next door snoring & upstairs using the bathroom at 1am. FYI, I am not a light sleeper!!

location was good for what I needed, and the river is beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff who dealt with me were lovely. Parking was easy/ample. The fan in the room was appreciated.

We were not able to check in at 12pm (though to be fair it was understandable and they were accommodating and provided us with facilities to get ready for the wedding, thank you). We ended up at the annex which was over the bridge and a bit further. It's a shame there isn't a zebra crossing as the road over the bridge gets busy.

Great customer service! We stayed only one night because we were attending a wedding. They were very accommodating and we were impressed with how lovely the staff were. The bathroom was nice and modern. Lovely view of the river eating breakfast which was good and the lady who made it was amazing! Thank you!

Right next to a fairly busy road and location wise is expensive to get a taxi from place to place. I was going to a wedding at Hockwood Hall which cost £35 one way despite only being 7 miles away. Also this location is a dead zone for Uber. This is not the properties fault but location wise be advised if you are going to want to take a taxi anywhere it’s not going to be cheap.

Good quality beds that are comfortable with decent size bathrooms and excellent showers. I also really appreciated they were able to easily accommodate gluten free breakfast including decent gluten free toast and sausages.

The annex room we had unfortunately was next to the busy road. So so noisy & made relaxing impossible. Lorries speeding past at 4am doesn't go down well. We were aware from previous comments of noise levels, but didn't realise it really was so bad. Best to ask to stay in the main building across the road.

A quirky hotel that is spread over separate buildings. Main hotel is where you have breakfast. We were staying across the road so had to drive to breakfast!! Which was unusual. Breakfast was superb and the lady serving was lovely. We stayed in an annex room. Not the best size, but the bed was comfortable. Clean bedding.
