Great hotel, in the middle of Spalding. We booked as we were going to an event at Springfields. Very spacious room, extremely friendly staff and very warm welcome when we arrived, and a great breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable with a well appointed room. We loved the fact we could use the restaurant with our family and there is a bar. The downside was that there were no desserts on the menu. Full English breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. An excellent place to stay.

bathroom heated towel rail not working bed was a bit too soft for me (however did sleep well) had trouble with tv getting it to work, that took a bit of sorting out

This was my third stay at Cley Hall but was the first stay in the ' Coach House ' annexe . This is NOT up to the standard of the main Hotel and obviously needs a little TLC ! Only small ' niggles ' - but they do need attention ! The metal casing for my Room lock handle fell off , need re-attaching .There was no Loo Roll Holder ( although the wall fitting was still in place ) . The waste water from the Shower does run away fast enough down the drain and could cause an overspill on to the floor !

The snug is a small yet totally adequate room. Comfy mattress and everything we needed for an over night stay. The area is good too with great food and drink options (The Moorings and the Crystal Inn are within a short walking distance)

The hotel bar sadly closed too early, and after the days we’d had definitely required a nightcap. Think the opening hours need to be re-visited.

The old building has plenty of character and the rooms were very spacious. The staff were excellent 👌 extremely hospitable.

I was the only person staying in the hotel. The first weekend in January clearly isn't a busy period. I had a course each day in a local location and they still laid on a cooked breakfast for me each day at 8.30. The building is old but we'll kept and comfortable with modern amenities.

we stayed in the days after new year and the hotel was very quiet, all the facilities were available but the bar closed early, we understood this.

lovely traditional room and en-suite all spotlessly clean. very good breakfast -- included, in a lovely room over looking the garden. the hotel was warm and cosy through out all the areas.

We booked the executive family room. This was not our given room. Upon enquiring it was out of order which was disappointing as I had specifically booked that room

I asked for TV remote batteries to be changed so that I could actually watch the tv - sadly and despite the “we will make sure this is changed straight away “ when I got back that night the batteries had not been changed. This was the only disappointment

The hotel is a lovely period building the room size was very generous and great shower and very comfortable bed. Staff were all so nice and breakfast excellent.
