Lounge needs attention to ceiling, looks like its had several leaks. We stay here several times a year & dinner menu is always the same - it needs changing.

Entertainment on Sunday night was great. Grandkids enjoyed the facilities.

The hotel needs some TLC, when you look closer there's little things like a teapot with a chip on the lid; the decor in the bathroom of our bedroom had peeling wall and door coverings. WiFi was unavailable in our bedroom.

Was put in the basement which had considerable steps down , even though it was a lovely sized room it was very dark .. Spoke to reception and they immediately sorted another room on the ground floor , didn't book until late so the choices were gone . But good sleep and ideally situated .

The above room was very loud and the smell of cigarette smoke came from a neighbouring room

Not a case of what we didn't like but felt that with no bath mat or rail it would have been easy to slip. A 'not too expensive' rectification I'm sure!!

Food was very good but, because of Blackpool lights just starting and last days of school holiday dining area was a little frantic. This was somewhat expected but, gentleman seeing us to tables was excellent. The Sunday breakfast was a little more calm. Room was nice with good view across sea front. Car park quite busy (as one would expect) but, we managed a space in the 'below' car park which kept the car cool.

Nothing in particular, only thing I could fault was there weren't enough plug sockets next to the beds.

Great location, lovely and clean, slept great. The atmosphere in the evening was amazing, loved the live music. Fantastic breakfast.

The parking was a little cramped

The rooms are a little dated and some are quite a trek if located at the back of the hotel. Not all rooms are accessed by the lift so if you have mobility issues contact the hotel to let them know. It was really hot when we stayed and our room had a flat roof above. It made the room too hot which made it very uncomfortable. Fans are available at reception but we only knew this when we checked out!!! Our room had a musty smell to it but I put that down to the heat on the day.

The hotel, location and facilities are very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is beautiful. There is a large selection of cereal, fruit and cooked food.

Didn’t like the toilet being separate from the bathroom as there wasn’t a sink. Didn’t like our room being downstairs without any view at all. The pool is also highly chlorinated ( I know it’s needed as there are so many children).

Liked the restaurant for breakfast, great for children. Liked the bar area, enjoyed the singer one evening. Liked the size of the family room.

The man on check in wasn't very informative. We weren't told about any of the hotel facilities on check in, then when we asked questions I was made to feel like a bit of an inconvenience. The bedroom was so warm, damp on walls in corridor, broken tiles and shower in swimming changing rooms.

We enjoyed our stay, liked the day time activities for the children, and was a perfect location, breakfast was great.
