Unfortunately, bar staff are a little unfriendly & avoided eye contact more than actually serving. They always looked busy behind the bar, but it's nice to be acknowledged when you are standing waiting to be served. My teens left to get me as they were ignored for over 5 mins with no one else waiting to get served.

Location for London Marathon weekend was perfect. Runners are very well catered for. Transport to the start & from the finish line is very easy.

On booking we didn’t realise the hotel was situated the other side of the river bit of a faff finding the ferry to cross on arrival. The walk from Canary Wharf tube didn’t bother us but for the less able it might. ( 2 minutes to cross a tad pricey, but then free to staying guests at the hotel ) Marathon morning no ferry/boat crossing early enough. Alternative walk to tube at Canada Water 20 minutes walk from hotel ( if we had known this on arrival we could have gotten off here and not Canary Wharf) We used this station for logistics throughout our trip. Hotel its self was ok nothing special. We had a view of the carpark, local residents garages and overflowing bins situated below our balcony. To which were emptied one morning, but the overspill of rubbish was left in the balcony area below. ( perhaps a unused hotel room) ( not pleasant on the eye) The room itself was ok, although tepid water to shower, the most comfortable of beds and pillows to only dream on. The carpet was in desperate need of a clean.

If there is anything to dislike, the location of car park 2 is so difficult to find! Wasted half an hour. The map they provided is not clear, maybe put a picture onto the page next time. All of these before I was trapped because of London marathon.

Toilet difficult to flush.

Location fantastic! View from room beautiful across the Thames. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Bar and restaurant fab; breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from. Hotel felt clean and comfortable. Room very comfortable, expecially the bed. Only thing I'd say is the toilet was impossibly hard to flush! Maybe just a fault with our room (444). Thanks for a very comfortable stay.

Our tv didnt work we reported this to reception and nothing got done

Staff were really nice, very friendly and welcoming customer service was probably the best ive ever had really chatty and not just your usual rush t get you checked in and minimal chat. Breakfast was beautiful had EVERYTHING you could want. We was given a room upgrade because of my partners birthday, free parking and drinks voucher by Jonas. Decorated room also. The convenience of the boat was amazing bear was beautiful what a lovely setting and great drinks.

Offered an upgrade but as we had two rooms they would have been in separate buildings, so we declined, Ran out of shampoo on the 2nd day, would be good if they were checked and topped up

Room was a little dated- finding a plug socket for mobiles, laptop etc. was not easy.

Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice. Especially loved the little tables in the window alcoves in the restaurant. Very nice chilled breakfast.

Great location. We loved the little ferry crossing and being on the river. The cookies were a lovely touch.

There was a small stain on our carpet and a few dirty patches on the desk I had to clean off myself, tea didn't get restocked when the room was serviced and the tray of food was left in the room we had ordered the night before.
