At 5'11 i'm not particularly tall yet my feet were hanging over the edge of the bed, it was very short in length. Although there was a heater provided in the bottom of the wardrobe, the room was very cold throughout the stay.

Really nice location with great surroundings. Rooms very spacious and clean. Excellent food and restaurant/bar staff particularly at breakfast.

This was my second stay at Horsley Lodge - as I had enjoyed my first stay so much. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was lovely - clean, spacious and comfortable - it was really nice to be able to have a bath rather then just a shower - which seems to be the normal these days. My friends and I had afternoon tea - which was lovely, we also ate in the restaurant in the evening and had breakfast the next morning. The food on each occasion was lovely. Would be very happy to stay again and very happy to recommend.

Location was lovely - even in the rain(!). Staff were helpful and pleasant - my friend and I had afternoon tea, a bar meal in the evening and breakfast the next morning - all were lovely. Room was a good size and clean and comfortable. Very happy to recommend

My particular room did not offer much in way of window view, and as its an old building the floors in the bedroom above do creek & groan when somebody is moving around. Also it would be better if breakfast started at 07:00 not 07:30, when I'm on business and getting back on the road, that 30 mins will make a difference

It was just perfect with one exception, in the room in which I stayed there was a high pitched constant buzzing sound, I couldn't work out what it was, it was very frustrating and continued throughout the night, it meant that I had a disturbed sleep, not ideal.

Went too warm in the midnight. was quite difficult to adjust with old Heating systems. Still everything was working fine & good. No complaints. restaurant and Menu was very limited, may good to have Multi cuisine for guests come to Leisure.

Room was noisy. You could hear the music in the bar. The plumbing was noisy and you could clearly hear people in the adjoining room. Tv reception was poor and the shower head swivelled when the water was turned on
