There was a function on Saturday night which we were not told about where the music was booming into our room until 13.30 in the morning. This was really disappointing as it felt like the function was prioritized over the experience of the hotel guests. I would advise anyone to avoid staying at this hotel on a Saturday evening.

The room was spacious but the space was not fully utilised - could have done with an extra chair in the room. Unusually the shower temperature was too hot with no obvious way to control

I thought the staff could have been more visible. Reception was hardly ever manned & only one person serving in the restaurant at the same time directing visitors for a large private event & we were advised this was the reason for the delay in our main meal.

I loved how clean the property was & the luxury of the rooms.

The faucet was too forceful for the sink and water was easy to splash out. Would have liked an extra pillow per person. Took some testing of the lights to understand them. Might have been nice to have a discounted gym access for facilities that were nearby.. I was looking for some to go cups of coffee & tea somewhere within the hotel. No directions for the coffee maker..ended up wasting a pod trying to get it turned on.

the nightclub below was very noisy from 1am to around 3am, probably only on a Wednesday night as that's the student social night.

We can't fault how friendly the staff were throughout our stay. We were there for my daughters 12th birthday and she was delighted with a lovely birthday card left for her. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on food but our room was perfect and we'll equipped.

The room could be more sound proof. My room was facing the road and there was probably a night club close by. Throughout the night (until 2AM) I could hear the music and sound of people celebrating which disturbed my sleep. But other than that no issues at all.

light switches - hard to operate, especially when going to bathroom at night - full lights on ! the hotel is close to and there is a night club too at the basement of the hotel - so noise is well after 2/3am . there was nothing at the description about this like it’s so close !!!

The decoration of the rooms is great, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the train station (if you are traveling by train). The staff are also nice and friendly.
