I specifically booked the hotel so I could have a bath. The room did indeed have a bath, however the bathtub did not have a plug so the bath itself was in the event useless as a bath and purely decorative. I phoned reception but understandably perhaps they didn't have a a supply of spare bathplugs at the ready. Also, I don't normally use lifts, but on this occasion I probably would have done, however it was out of action.

Nice large room on the third floor. I realized I had actually stay in the same room before. It's a good size, well specified and with a good comfortable

Unfortunately the mattress was terrible, the bedding, pillows etc were nice but the mattress itself was hard and bouncy lol.

Superb location right in the heart of Kensington! Beautiful setting, nice foyer and nice little room. I loved my bathroom it was perfect! I was thankful that both windows were very large and opened. Beautifully decorated and ample storage space.

It wuld have been nice to have a choice between soft or hard pillow. As it was we both found the pillows too hard.

The location of the Montana Hotel is excellent for the Royal Albert Hall, the underground and numerous museums such as the Natural History Museum. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. The staff are all very pleasant and smile a lot!

For those who have mobility issues, the hotel is a bit of a challenge. The lift does not work and there are a number of stairs. In one room, there is a step up and down into the bathroom, which can be dangerous at night for those who are older. One night I booked a shared bathroom, which meant walking up stairs in the middle of the night. This is a Victorian hotel, so many of these challenges are to be expected and obvious, if for example, you book a room without ensuite. For those who do not need to worry, these quirky architectural choices are part its charm. However, It would be worth calling ahead for those who have mobility issues.

The location is unbeatable, rooms are clean and cheery, staff is accommodating and continental breakfast is quite good.

Booking was offering breakfast in price of room when you pay bit extra (it was continental) however when I booked in confirmation and on the reception desk it was no meal plan applied … very disappointed as I end up paying extra money to the room I have booked with breakfast included

The elevator did not work. A staff member explained the piece to fix it was extremely expensive, so they hadn’t fixed it. Seemed like it has been out of order for a long time…they should have alerted guests. Our rooms were on the 3rd and 4th floors with 4 & 6 flights of stairs to each. Not ideal at the end of busy site-seeing and with luggage.

Location was optimal. Rooms were comfortable just outdated. Carpet was not clean.

I have a huge luggage and my room was in 3rd floor. The lift was not working as per the staff so I was worried I am going to take it back and forth. However the staff were very helpful and they helped me carry the luggage to my room and back down when I was about to check out. Thank you.

I love the room although it is smaller than I expected, it was very comfy and clean. Location is very near from tube station so it is accessible to public and can go around tourist spots easily.

What I didn't really like was the fact that the shower head was inside the bathtub and it was high to get into. I believe if it were a person with mobility problems it could be difficult to take a shower.

The room was very large, there was a minibar, kettle, glasses and cups, hairdryer. All these facilities helped our stay to be good. The location is definitely the best part of staying there. It is just a few minutes from the subway, restaurants, pharmacy, cafes and supermarket all on the same street. Access to Hyde Parke and the Natural Museum is very easy to do on foot.

The toilet was hard to flush and we wasted a lot of water trying to get it to flush properly. The bathroom air vent was covered with thick dust and the water smelled like sewer gas a lot.

The hotel staff was amazing! They helped us with our luggage and changed our room to one on the ground level as the lift was broken and we couldn’t use the stairs because of elderly travel companions.

The double rooms are pretty small. Two people can not stand together near the mirror. The hotel can May be provide a little more space for the double rooms. It was smaller than what we expected.

The location is a few seconds to the underground. Nice food and coffee options near by. There’s a salon as well near by. The hotel has an Indian restaurant as well and there’s 15% discount for the guests who stays. Food was good

I could hear people talking in the rooms next to me and their TV was way too loud at midnight. Not the hotels fault , just inconsiderate guests.

The staff were really helpful and moved me to a lower floor as the lift was out of order and I wouldn’t have managed the stairs due a a heart condition.
