The hotel is a converted terraced house which is a bit old and creaky and tired but we look for somewhere which is value for money and clean as we spend most time out exploring. It met our requirement. Room 4 has a loose toilet seat . Room had coffee, milk and a kettle which is useful. Nearest tube was South Kensington.. or walk (or bus) along Kings Rd to Sloane Square tube.

Staff were great. Breakfast is included which is always a useful feature. Hot brekkie was standard fried eggs, beans and toast. Cold brekkie option was muesli, yogurt, fruit. Also cereal and orange juice available.

Its very dated, dust around the electric fire plugs and the bathroom was extremely dated. The room must be an ordeal to clean, as it’s so old and tired, it would be easy to miss dust here and there. Really needs upgrading and it would be fabulous . I hope they get to do this because I think they work very hard.

A fabulous location, 10 minutes walk from the Kings Road. They are really nice staff, friendly, helpful and cheerful. Bed very comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Breakfast only between 8 and 9am. An extra hour would accommodate those of us who are obliged to have a bit of a lie-in..

Very welcoming (and informal) hosts and staff in a modest multi-roomed old-fashioned Georgian-type house. Freedom to come and go as we pleased with our own door keys. Kitchen facilities also available to guests who would cook for themselves. For the price paid in comparison to other local hotels or B&B's the accommodation was fine, friendly and functional. No 170 Bus takes you to/from Victoria in about 20 mins (depending upon traffic). 4-5 minute walk to the bus stop (depending on the length of your legs or the walking speed of your companions).. :-)

No elevator. Outdated rooms. Cable TV did not work, so had to use over-the-air antena that got limited channels.

Great breakfast each morning. Good price for the room.

This place really could do with some TLC. From dusty old paintings to singed sockets (I decided not to charge my phone) and shared toilet/shower facilities, this really isn't the place for someone who won't compromise for price.

Affordable and well-located, this is an OK place to stay if you are on a budget. The included cooked breakfast was passable for free, but I would have been disappointed if I had paid extra for it. Transport links are fine, a short walk to the bus stops at either end of the road can get you anywhere you need to be. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

We were happy with all of it. The bathrooms are tiny so if you are very tall or wide, you feel cramped but it wasn’t a problem for us. It’s a 17 min walk to the tube station but you can easily get a taxi there if walking is a problem.

It is in a great location in Chelsea and close to the Thames. Great value for money and includes breakfast. our flight came in very early and they very kindly let us check in when we arrived.

There were a few issues which took the edge off our stay. The hotel is tired and old and hasn’t been invested in. The dado rail in the shared walk- in shower obviously hadn’t been cleaned for quite a while. I don’t mind staying somewhere old but I don’t like dirt that is easy to remove… I started doing it myself! I ignored the cobwebs. The breakfast menu said eggs how you like but we were told that poached eggs were not an option. No marmalade!!! We had a TV that didn’t work and it was quite a faff to get it fixed. I was slightly irritated when the shift manager seemed pleased to tell me that she had fixed it but to be honest it shouldn’t have been a problem in the first place. Thankfully we had our iPad. The staff were too casually dressed and this looked inappropriate. Work uniform makes a good impression and helps with pride and professionalism. The breakfast team had to work hard as the dining room is too small. I was shocked to see guests sitting on the cramped stairs waiting to get their breakfast!

The location was excellent as we were attending a wedding in Old Chelsea Town Hall and we used local buses (11 and 19) to get about. We walked from South Kensington to get there and took the 19 bus to reach Finsbury Park.

The hotel is very very dated.Needs a complete overhall. It dosnt bother me that bedroom furniture didn't match..it was the shower rail..completely rusty..but a new shower curtain,The grouting was very discoloured,,a bit o bleach and white vinigar would get it white again...Beds clean..curtains and bedding mismatched..Breakfast was ample.Fried eggs or scrambled with baked beans.Toast and cereal or a continental breakfast of musli and yogurt.Peeling walls in the dining room, old tatty carpets.

The location excellent, the Staff exceptional. Nothing any bother. They are very very kind people.I think the owners owe these girls a pay rise as they had a lot to contend with.I expect they have to put up with a lot of complaints. It didn't meet our expectations but it's in a fab location n very good price.Inspite of my review we would stay again because the beds where clean as was the areas we frequented..its just the dated decor that let's it down. The breakfast ,wasn't much choice but was ample..kept you going.

The room was very small, without a table, a chair, a wardrobe closet, anything. The windows could not be opened properly, the shower didn't even had a curtain, resulting in water pouring out, making pipes rust, etc. And although the location seemed to be relatively close to the centre, there was no underground station to be reached easily. The whole building has this oldish atmosphere that is certainly not appropriate for 21st-century visitors. We actually decided to leave after the first night there.

The staff was kind and welcoming, the neighborhood was also nice and relatively quiet. Breakfast was to be chosen from a selection of four (cold or warm, British or continental).

Not recommended at all *** First of all, calling this a hotel is a deception. If i were to know it is a hostel i would not book it. * There is no air circulation at all, I am not talking about an aircon that they dont have or the mini fan that barely worked, I am talking about the window that facing the opposite side of the wind or something like that even when it was windy and cold outside, the air did not come in and it felt like sauna and not in a good way. * Far from the underground * No lift and has several floors * Tiny room * Mold in the shower

    Pretty neighborhood

Our room was a little small but you get what you pay for! Also there are A LOT OF STAIRS and no elevator (to my knowledge) - so keep in mind if that might be an issue for you. It wasn't an issue for me because I love stairs and I love going up and down all day long.

Lovely staff and very cute space, great location in Chelsea. Little tea pot with coffee and tea in the room, and the breakfast is simple but really nice. Comfortable bed, not too hot or cold, what more could you want! Also a little garden out back. Great value.
