The bathroom is outdated and needs a refitting. The Windows leak the cold air. It would be good if the refrigarotar and the built in safe would work. The two concrete pillars in the room are unusal.

The Hotel is near the New Shopping Centers. The staff is mostly friendly.

The room has some bad stains and damage to the carpet in the room. It was also a shame that coffee was no longer served at table, you had to use machines and also that the only eggs available at breakfast were scrambled or hard boiled.

Was hoping to be able to get breakfast in bed which you could have basic like omelette but not full English. Limited room service menu. The black out curtains let light in at top and on one side...

Pleasant stay. Staff were helpful. Perfect location for O2 academy Selection at breakfast was very varied and liked the addition of take away cups for tea/coffee . Try the homemade biscuits and brownies as were delicious. Considering where situated blocked out alot of the noise Lifts were quick. The hotel offer reduced parking rates at a local car park so ask them where (FYI not the station car park as they are right next to each other, as we had to go round a few times before realising)

Shower pressure not great and was leaking from where the shower hose connects. Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were like pumped with air. Tv chrome cast didn’t work.

This is petty I realise but at the end of a night out, I like to enjoy a cup of tea in my room with a biscuit, but sadly we were not provided with any biscuits in the room - which is strange as in most hotels you get a small complimentary pack of biscuits. Not the end of the world but it’s the little things sometimes ….

Friendly welcome upon check-in, good room albeit a little noisy with the traffic outside (we were on the 10th floor) but the hotel had left earplugs in the room which could be used. Lovely clean bathroom and great shower. Good location.

The shower head in the bathroom moved when the shower was on. We had to use a shampoo bottle to wedge the head in place, otherwise the water hit the side tiles only.

Nothing everything was to an excellent standard.

The location of the property was brilliant. Walking distance of new street train station, bullring and restaurants and also taxi stand was close by. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and full of options.

The staff were friendly and polite, but little touches were missing that resulted in not feeling the stay was an exceptional rating. No one told us we needed to use our room key to be able to access the higher floors (and there was nothing in the lift saying either), so we had a trip on the lifts for a while. We arrived after a long journey and upon checking out noticed there appeared to be fresh water with fruit and simple snacks that no one mentioned to us, despite being sat waiting a for a few minutes before we could check in. A refreshing drink would have been welcomed when we first arrived.

Great location for accessing all the highlights of Birmingham. Comfortable beds and good-sized rooms, meaning you are not on top of one another. The room had all the essentials, including a decent hairdryer. We have stayed in other local hotels before and prefer the extra room space and guaranteed cleanliness this hotel offers at comparable prices.
