The hotel is not very centralt

Nice hotel with rather big rooms and confortable beds. Everything was very clean and the staff friendly. Good resteurants inhouse and bar. Also room service.

The electric car charger we use is very often out of order (pod point) the other pod point charger is often being used by the same car. Ice machine is never filled up with water. Very thin pillows. Breakfast items left out for quite a while, items such as bread and fruit juice not replenished (last hour of breakfast service) Sauna nowhere near temperature required to be fit for purpose. Air con in the room seemed to be set to 19 degrees and could not be lowered (this has never been an issue on previous visits)

Bath & taps were slightly damaged and plug riser didn't work but wasn't a major problem. Overall good experience & would stay there again.

Very nice hotel, clean, large rooms, decenet bar and food on site. Staff were friendly, clearly had some repeat customers they were well acquainted with and cared about. Reasonable location, handily situated for the football (not why we were there). Within 20 minutes walk of the town centre.

Times of breakfast too late. During the week a 6:30am breakfast is not unreasonable. Food very overpriced.

Hot water only just available Friday night, not fixed until Sunday morning - cold shower. But manager offered a complimentary first night on next booking and free breakfast, so well recovered!

The breakfast was disappointing. There was no water provided at the buffet, we had to ask, same with tea and coffee. The bacon was so tough it was basically cardboard and I personally didn't touch the eggs. Not sure how often the hot food is refreshed but it was very meh. Also the room was fairly clean but the corners of the bathroom were dirty/dusty and unclean.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was nicely furnished and well-sized with water bottles included. The bathroom was also fairly modern with shower soap and shampoo provided. Location is great not far at all from town and there is a car park onsite. We went down to breakfast a bit later than planned and asked if it would be a problem if we checked out 10mins late, so we wouldn't have to rush. Was told it was no problem ☺️

Very little .,

All staff went out of their way to help and I had no negative approaches. The hotel was very clean overall and my room was spacious and comfortable. A big plus was two easy chair and a 2 seater settee. The desk was large with good lighting and plenty of sockets - very good if you were using laptops, etc. I think it would be very good for people visiting for work.

Disappointed that I couldn’t get the spa bath to work. This was mentioned to the staff when we checked out and they were going to look into it. Fried eggs at finial breakfast were completely dried out and had obviously been under the heat lamps for a while. Other than that it was a lovely hotel to stay in.

Staff were helpful and pleasant. Check in was quick and easy. Room was bigger than expected. Little treats on arrival such as chocolate and juice as well as the expected tea/coffee was lovely. Bed was comfortable and temperature control was easy to use making sure it was a comfortable night sleep. Breakfast was a buffet style and plenty of choice plus you could ask staff for extras such as a poached egg. Free car parking on site.

Room for this final night stay expensive - I’d stayed for 2 nights(13/14 Feb) then 1 more night (15 feb) much cheaper but the Friday was very expensive considering it was booked at about 8pm…

There was empty cans of beer/bottles Outside the front door and empty cig packets that took several days to be cleaned. Breakfast glasses were all really dirty.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely gentleman working on Reception. We didn’t get his name but he could not have been more accommodating. Thank you. Our room was very spacious and comfortable.

The smallest thing were the bedside lights. I think the positioning has meant that they have been knocked about and this does show as they do look a bit battered

Hotel was clean and comfortable and met expectations. Have to mention that the thing that stood out were the staff. All staff were very welcoming, warm and professional. Your staff team are definitely an asset.
